I have been married for 40 years. I met my wife for the first time in 1984. I asked who she was and she was about mentioning her name. She was on the verge of mentioning her last name when I blurted out “I will marry you.” She has just completed her NYSC that year and her personal items were in her boyfriend’s house. I told her that I will marry you but that he wouldn’t. The following day she came again and I drove her to the guy’s house to collect her things and that’s it. The rest is history! We have been together since then, happy and supportive of each other. I’m a spiritualist because the moment I set eyes on her, my stomach churned and I heard a voice that said “this is your wife.” My personal progress is because of my wife. I know of a Bollywood producer who had been married thrice and married another actress. They are very happy and have been together for over 10 years now. So, it depends on the circumstances.
