Our first cruise was on Freedom, a little older and been redone but a great ship hav a great cruise!

Okay...I'll play the name that turkey game. Let's name him "Turkey Tom"! Gobble Gobble!! How nice to see you relaxing at the beach of Amber Cove! I've never done anything but hang out at the free pool and do the fun waterslides and $20 zipline! Maybe in the future I'll venture to the beach like you did. Your drone shots were OFF THE CHIZZLE!!

We came on the horizon back in April for spring break and stayed at the pool with our kids who are teens age 13 and 17 at the time and they loved it but we will be coming back next year on the Mardi Gras on a new years cruise and plan to venture out of port great video thank you guys for all your hard work

The last time I saw the streets of Puerto Plata they were completely covered with mud! We were at crummy beach all inclusive that week and all it did was rain! The airport flooded as did the downtown and people were walking through the mud to get to the shops!

I appreciated your blog of your off-shore excursions. We did your suggestion for Roatan and immensely enjoyed it. I would like to try this one when I go back to Amber Cove. What is the name of the tour description you took? We will be going in January 2023 on the Carnival Freedom to Roatan again. Do you have any more off-shore excursion recommendations? How about in Belize and Cozumel? PS: boy , your son has grown tall. I remember him when he was about 10. Good to see your family together enjoying each other’s. It’s a beautiful thing. The tour we took in Amber Cove was through shoreexcursioneer.com It was called the Puerto Plata Highlights sightseeing excursion. In Roatan we always use Real Deal Roatan Tours for our excursions. He offers several options and can sometime customize it for you. There are so many options in Cozumel. We usually just go to a beach club. In Belize river tubing is fun or tender into port and take a small boat out to Caye Caulker or Goff's Caye. Enjoy...

Our first cruise after they opened up was Mardi Gras, August 2021, we didn’t see bacon much, as a matter of fact the Buffett for breakfast and lunch was pretty poor. After that, we have done 6 more cruises, Royal, Celebrity and Princess and there was plenty of bacon, is it that Carnival is saving money with the bacon?, it is pretty expensive, so that might be a way of saving $$

There was plenty of bacon in the MDR but we just didn't see much in the buffet...

We were on Mardi Gras just a few weeks after you & the buffets were a thumbs down for me. Not the typical buffet & the bacon for breakfast was every other day. Honestly we only did the MDR one night, it was just okay but we ate mostly at Guys Burgers, Shacks chicken, Pig & Anchor & pizza.
