I really enjoyed this tutorial. I've not been using markers in my coloring. Up until now I haven't known how to use them. Thanks so much for this series.

I am so enjoying your videos. I received my prismacolor premiers Friday. Amazon.ca has a pretty good deal for a set of 72. They blow my scholar set out of the water 🎆Stippling shading is so relaxing, I am glad for the validation . Watching, learning and enjoying. Thanks for all your talent and sharing😊😊

Hatching is a series of lines all going in the same direction. Cross hatching is the same only overlapping the hatching going in the opposite direction. Whatever that was is neither.

Do the sharpies blend together like the copics? Thanks so much for the videos Inknow it's a lot of work and time and I appreciate it hugs

+Norine Mueller, I'm glad you like it so much! No, sharpies are not as blendable as Copics...I'm. It sure why...I have a working theory that maybe Copic is putting additives into their ink to make them blend better, but I'm not sure. Also...Copics have that awesome brush tip that make some of the blending techniques that I demonstrate much easier.

Coloring Pages Bliss They don't blend because they're not really for coloring, Copics are special for coloring that's why they blend so well. Sharpies and Bic Markers are really common and cheap markers, they're more for the office, doing zentangle art, doing mandalas, or "color" by using the stippling technique. As for Copics they're special for coloring, that's why they're expensive. They do even layers and blend really well. PD: I'm not saying you can't color with Sharpies/Bic or blend with them, because you can, and if you know how to use them you'll get really good results.

..This is just genius.. I never thought that you could use the Ultrs Fine Point ones for details like that All I do is just be a complete noob and then color an area with a light color and then add some shading to it with a darker shade...

Just got my first ones. Havent used alcohol pens for decades. Isnt it almost harmful to inhale? I dont feel like im that close to the pen but damn it stinks

I really enjoy your videos! I watch them on your utube channel but can't seem to find more than #1and 2 of the "sharpie series" I know there must be more. It's kind of like a cliff hanger.😁 How do I get the other sharpie ones? BTW, I have watched nearly all your other vids

I'm obviously not getting the vibe of stippling. I find it to be an onerous chore, rather than a relaxing exercise. So i always end up rushing it and making mistakes :(

I don't have sharpie but I have permanent pen I don't like it that much because if you have white paper the ink goes through the paper Who agrees comment/like below if that happens to you
