Rode this for the first time yesterday and the video does it no justice, the launch takes you 0-130mph in twice the speed of a Ferrari and it’s probably literally the closest thing you’ll ever feel to a rocket ship in your life, the ride is short but very worth it. Absolutely terrifying and amazing.

I went on for the first time yesterday first row all i can say is that the anticipation is worse the g force is crazy the speed that is needed to go up is more extreme than the drop itself. You can't feel the drop. It only last a few seconds

My dad always rode this ride and had no expression. He was never scared of any roller coaster. I bet in Heaven, he’s riding all these roller coasters 🎢

this ride is INSANE. i went on it with some kids from my school last year and the force from the launch was so extreme, the elastic in my hair was ripped out.

by far the 20 most amazing seconds of my life !! we were sitting fully forward, the speed is really powerful, you stay nailed to your seat, the eyes flow alone, in short, this roller coaster is really sensational

I'd have to say that the front row is the best on this ride. El Toro is best in the back.

I rode this over 10 years ago, and it took my breath away when I got to the top. I actually started praying because it was so scary, haha. Unfortunately, it ruined all other roller coasters for me. I don't get a thrill like I used to before riding Kingda Ka, because nothing has compared to it.

Just rode this bad boy 3 times in one day in NJ. Started the day off riding it twice in a row and ended the day with it. At the end I was DONE. It is an insane ride. Coming down feels like it's gonna fly off the rails into the theme park. 😳

Ok so I went for the first time yesterday and it is so much fun. I was so scared... when people say you dont feel the drop is true. You don't get butterflies. And when it launches that is the "worst" part. And I say "worst" because is not even bad is super cool. It goes really fast and everything looks so pretty at the top. I live in the Uk and my sistet lives in NY. I went on this ride about 16 years ago. I have to say this is still my best ride on a rollercoaster hands down. My son is in NY at this moment in time. I asked my sister to take him there. He went on it yesterday. He said Dad. That ride is mad ha ha ha. He loved it. If you get the chance then do it.

Just rode this (7 times) for the first time this week and all I can say is OMG, KINGDA FREAK'N KA!!!!! Because no other words or video can do this insane experience justice.

I remember my friend and I were shaking out of fear right before we got on the ride. Neither of us has ever been scared to go on a ride before or since then. It’s just so incredibly intimidating.

It’s really not as bad as you think it is. I’m telling you the worst part of it is waiting on the line, trust me. You don’t even notice the height once you’re up there. It’s so fast you don’t even know how to react! And my stomach didn’t drop when going down the hill.

Oh man from 00:42 to 00:48 I've never been on this one, but I know that top thrill has the same feel right before you launch. Those few seconds after you hear the mechanism get ready is just flat out exhilarating. Keep up the awesome videos!

This was the first ride that I went on when I got to the park. My group was one of the first to get in line, and so we literally walked right on. I've always been too afraid to go on it cause of the height, but it wasn't bad at all. Just the launch scared me a bit.

I've been on that ride when i was like 9 or 8 like twice it was s much fun! My dad for some reason kept his eyes closed and screamed like a little girl. My eyes were open the whole time. It's also a nice view from the top before they drop you.

2-3 hour wait time for a 50 second ride of your life, must be worth the wait

Honestly it's not the going up or coming down that really scares you, it's when you first launch the extreme acceleration towards what your brain thinks is a wall causes so much adrenaline! I love this ride more than any other I've been on (Even love it more than Universal Studios the Hulk Ride)

I've been watching this video for ten years, today I finally went on Kingda Ka for the first time!

I went on this ride with my son Ryan. We planned a trip this summer just to go on this ride! Flew to DC from Florida, rented a truck and drove to New Jersey all for the experience to ride the tallest rollercoaster in the world and fastest in North America. Prepped with many KZfaq videos beforehand like prepping for a moon launch. Sat in the first car since that is the smoothest and will not rock side-to-side. Ride is smooth as glass. Knowing the mechanics of the launch vehicle, history, the break after the top-hat....all helps with the experience. The second best part of the ride is the anticipation when you sit down in the coaster and it rolls back a couple feet to engage the catapult launch vehicle. It can be described as pure terror. Then in an instant, you are shot forward faster then you have ever been in your life, faster then any Tesla, drag racer, or any vehicle available to mere mortals. All coasters after riding this coaster have a little less zing to them. Although we recommend the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride at Epcot as another "Must Ride" roller coaster!

I went on this for a 12th time today and I saw a rollback which was amazing and extremely rare!!

you know what's ironic? Being terrified of kindka ka and feeling nothing for El toro. After riding both, I'm terrified of toro and want to ride kindka ka again lol

I wanna experience this to find out how an astronaut feels while flying up in a rocket. It might not be as fast and strong, but I feel like it would be a great way to find out.

My friends and I were terrified and screaming while this happened. But once it was over we were cheering with joy and excitement

honestly wouldn't mind going on this. what scares me on roller coasters is the anticipation and fear that builds up on the way up to the drop. this goes so fast that i wouldn't feel fear for long at all.

Damn that roller coaster looks awesome! I'm going to great adventure next weekend so excited!!! At first i was scared of roller coasters but my cousin got me into them. The thing that only sucks though is that you wait in that long line for only a drop. I mean the ride is only like 10secs.

I deadass passed out on this ride back in 2017. The moment I regain consciousness was at the top of the rollercoaster. The sheer horror when I was looking straight down haunts me to this day 😭😭

I have been on other coasters like nitro. The lift was long, and the drop was too much. Can’t wait to try this one.

Rode for the 1st time Saturday night. The launch is intense as fuck, extreme positive g's compress ya right into the seat on the way up..then the quick view and plummet. Loved the whole experience. I prefer the typical out and back style coasters with a lift hill but this was sick. Will ride again for sure.

The fastest rollercoaster I’ve been on is 73 mph and the drop is 200 feet…and i nearly passed out going up the hill. and I was screaming at the top of my lungs the whole time. I would absolutely LOVE to be on something like this!
