ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

"Detroit Steel" is the name of a hero that debuted in 1992's "Dealer Choice", the 11th book of the George R.R. Martin edited on-going series, "Wild Cards." Detroit Steel has car-themed armor that has never been beaten.

In my opinion I think this figure of Detroit steel looks really awesome even though I'm not too familiar with that character I still think he looks awesome and he'll look really awesome on The Avengers Shelf

I liked the look of this big and beefy dude so much I picked it up right away. Great figure, but wish I would’ve waited. If anyone wants it NOW is the time! It’s in the Hasbro Pulse Outlet and is a “steel” at $34.91!

This is actually an incredible reuse of the MCU Iron-Monger. They even went out of their way to alter certain parts in a significant way.

If they're not gonna make a new sculpt for a comic Surtur, they should reuse the MCU mold like they did here with Detroit Steel. Maybe retool the crotch for a tail, add an overlay, new head, and new sword. I still think he should be a newly sculpted BAF that could be reused for a Mangog. Or a taller Surtur in a HasLab.

One thing i hate about movie designs is how monotone or muted the colors are. If they sold Iron Monger like this 20 years ago, id take it without a second thought. And the price would've been great too

Although Detroit Steel does look decent enough, I'll pass. The cool thing is that the Hasbro ML team are still surprising us with new figures that haven't been before.

Yeah, this is not for me... I'm not familiar with this character, but it looks like this was designed by someone playing with Marvel Mashers figures - maybe someone like a 9 year old... Joy to those who want it though... Buy what you like.

Detroit Steel is gaudy on purpose, the armor is a hyper-patrotic funhouse mirror image of Iron Man in the similar vein of Iron Patriot, designed by Hammer Industries to captivate the conservative oldbags at the Pentagon and private security firms.

Oh, you opened it after quite a while... considering that it's in a closed box you're lucky it had the proper figure and accessories. Hasbro really demolished their own business by going to closed boxes. Hasbro may never recover.
