He had excellent replies if anything, I see some bias in your comments. Some of his replies were apt. Further, you can see that through out the discussion, Sai Deepak was wearing the cap of a critic while Tharoor has to justify his criticized view points. If you want a dichotomic view on history, you will only tinge events with your own implicit bias. This is not a criticism of your observation, just letting your consider another opinion.

What was missing here was the true spirit of reconciliation, which everyone speaks about but does not feel - I found Sai Deepak to be an erudite individual who was missing the spirit of what he was espousing himself.
