What you are watching is Rugby-League which is a different sport to Rugby, which like american football has its humble beginnings in rugby, but it is a different code all together with different rules, different governing bodies and different fan bases. The key differences between Rugby and Rugby-League is Rugby has 15players per team on the field and Rugby-League has 13,Rugby-League you only have 6tackles to get as far up the field as possible or score before possesion is handed over(unless opposition plays at the ball or is penalized),where rugby you have as many phases as needed, until either a try is scored,a penalty rewarded,or the attacking team makes a mistake.Rugby a try is worth 5points,Rugby league a try is worth 4points,both rugby and rugby-league allow for a conversion after a try, where the teams kicker has a chance to add an additional 2points,but it has to be taken from the spot on the field that the try was scored from(so if you score in the corner, that is the reference spot, you can go as forward or back as much as you like in a straight line with that reference point, but obviously the closer in the tighter the angle, and the further back you go the longer the kick),another big difference is rugby have line-outs,rugby league doesnt,a line out is when the ball is kicked out of play, the team defending gets to throw in and line-outs are contested, also scrums between the 2 codes are vastly different,Rugby scrums are heavily contested engagements in rugby, and most teams have specialist scrummagers, where rugby league has them and im not quite sure why they do still have them, they arent contested and i think its just there superficially.Rugby-League is generally considered a much faster paced exciting game to watch, with less interuptions and easier to understand, with less technical and confusing rules,Rugby is considered alot more technical, with alot more players being specialists in their respective positions.Rugby is a more globally watched sport with big following in South Africa,Wales,England,France,Ireland,New Zealand,Argentina,Scotland,Japan,Samoa,Tonga,Fiji,Italy and australia.Rugby-League has struggled to gain international growth because they put alot more and resources into the domestic-Leagues than the international game,so the 2 big professional domestic leagues are the NRL in australia which consist of 16australian teams(mostly from queensland and NSW)and one team from new zealand(similar situation as the raptors in the nba) and the other big domestic league is the super league in the uk which consists of 12teams(11 from england(mostly northern england)and one team from france. So their domestic leagues have huge cult followings, but their international presence is lacking

Wea do we start, well 1st of all he is still playing n he coming back to da N.Z Warriors 2022 after playing 3or4seasons wit da Australian club Cronulla sharks. The opposition looks like they're jus standing there but in reality if u move of ur mark then you've jus opened a big hole for him n he will take advantage of it.Our feilds r 100 meters from goal post to goal post with 10 extra meters behind each post.Theres rugby den there's rugby league (2 different codes) so he's playing league (NRL national rugby league) After each try (touchdown) u get a free kick at goal by placing the ball behind the 20meter line straight out from where u scored the try,This is known as a conversion A try is 4points and a conversion is 2points.During any time of the game u can do a drop-kick which is dropping the ball in front of your feet n letting it hit da ground b4 kicking it.If it goes between the post den dats 1point.Every season the teams change the design off there jerseys whilst keeping da logo.Hope Dat not too much to take in but dats jus da jist of it so far cheers n GO DA MIGHTY WARRIORS

That was funny. What came first NFL or Rugby Football. Evidently Rugby Football, as American Football originated from Rugby Football friend. Just like Baseball originated from Cricket!!!

Dudes good, he's a little small so has to rely on the footwork to not get smashed. His position is the equivalent as a point guard in b ball so his passing game, passing fakes, distribution, has to be on point literally. He is also the conversion specialist, field goal specialist for his team. When a try , 4 points, is scored a non contested conversion is taken in line from where the ball is touched down, score out wide, conversion out wide, score under the posts, kick from in front for 2 extra points.

We play every position, we don't have two sides, defence and offence, and we also kick.

React to Benji Marshall. He can step like Shaun Johnson, but his signature move is a no look pass.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 26 yrs old....played at a successful club in Australia and left the club to come back to his home of New Zealand to play for the WARRIORS who have never won a premiership. In his second year there he became captain at 23 yrs of age ....he will go down as New Zealand’s best player in history when his career is over . He has the best footwork in the competition, fast , can tackle , always finishes as the top as most metres run end of the season.. he now has the record for most meters in a single 80 min game in history with 367 metres and best of all he’s considered to be one of the sports greats because in a team who don’t have too much success he’s always the best player on the field , gives 100% and let’s his game do the talking ( others have great support) he tends to do it all on his own. In 2018 he won MVP of the season ( the Ceremony at the end of the video ) in 2019 he won best international player , 1 of the highest earning players in the game and at only 26 years old he’s scarey how good he will end up being ...I present to you my favourite Roger Tuivasa Sheck - also known as RTS kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d8CPe9VqqbaaZ5c.html.

He’s too good for NFL ...rugby league is known as one of the most entertaining sports in the world ...there are a lot of superstar athletes that do the most unthinkable things during the game . It’s not stop start either ...it’s constant with no offence and defence ...13 players play both with 8 chances to switch a player on the bench . The season is restarting on the 28th of May ! It’s gonna be recognised world wide with more exposure since not many sports are back on ! I like a lot of sports but rugby league is the most exciting sports to watch

Yea seems like such a fast pace game, that game moves much faster than the nfl, it would be interesting to ever see a mashup of the 2 even thought it maybe will never happen

I don’t think rugby is better than NFL there just different sports but similar. I would love to see Johnson as running back in the NFL he’d be ridiculous
