Still one of my favourite players to watch to this day, love to see him doing well. 2014 four nations final was definitely his best game in my opinion

We needed Shaun in the World Cup, except for Manu there was no-one else that was capable of being a playmaker against the best teams, he has individually won more Tests than any other player and usually was the difference in the top games when it mattered, a pity the coach doesn't like him, the results for the Kiwi's would have been different, we should have lost to Fiji but the ref was biased.

Yea with that forward pack SJ would've strived I believe kiwis would've unlocked his potential. Hughes was really messy and the team had no guidance it was all independent talent. Even having SJ impact from the bench would've made a difference SJ> Foran. Overall kiwis run was very awkward had no leader in the pack, I knew we wouldn't make finals

We win the cup with Johnson at 6, more direction and finesse with the attack and better kicking game

@@HG-sl2ur I wouldn't have even minded playing him at 14. But Madge should've selected him and trialed him out against Leeds etc
