@@Ari-lc5qe It always seemed so forced with Carly. I commend her for having the patience to wait for Shaun to come around, but it just never seemed natural. It wasn't until after Lea held him and comforted him about his dad that he could finally lay down next to Carly and get intimate. Their kisses, their hugs, and just natural enjoyment seemed forced with Shaun. And with Lea, he didn't seem to even need to try.

Pomerlain89 IFKR!!!!! And the nerve that some people hate lea is just sad. Same for Carly too. I personally love Carly but Shaun and Carly literally never matched. Anyways I hope they don’t do what all tv shows do. (Make them have a date and it a awkward and they say they can’t date and that etc bull.....

Being an autistic person, I find it so trippy and weird watching this show and watching Shaun especially. It makes me wonder if other people perceive _me_ this way, coz of course _I_ don’t notice the way I behave and talk since it’s the natural way of me functioning. Plus, Shaun seems a lot more able to pick up on social cues, body language, and hints than me. I find it really funny, actually. It’s an interesting and insightful experience. Especially after watching the original Korean drama.

It's always been Lea. ❤️ It was a big step for him to make the first move and ask for Lea's name after their first meeting and to introduce himself. And here he opened up to her when they barely knew each other.

Everything he went through when he was dating Carly has always come naturally and with ease with Lea. From the very beginning, we see scenes like this from way back in season 1 and he just feels so comfortable and safe with Lea and that’s why I always knew from the very beginning that they would be endgame. Their relationship has always had its ups and downs but the Carly/Shaun relationship always had so many issues that he never did with Lea because that part of connection that he so hardly worked for with Carly, he innately already had with Lea

Whenever I see a green apple I smile and sometimes I get a lump in my throat. When this episode premiered and especially whenever I watch this beautiful scene, green apples now represent acceptance and love and it being okay just to be human

I have a soft spot for Shaun. My older sister has autism, and she has and sometimes still shares a lot of his struggles. Growing up, I knew she was different from the other kids, but I never saw it as something wrong with her. Now, I'm friends with several autistic people, and I think it's because I see a bit of my sister in all of them and understand them better because of her. I think the same goes for Shaun: I see a bit of my sister and my friends in him.

I have autism and it feels really weird to watch this show because I wonder if this is how people hear me talk and I dont hear it because it is my everyday thing and its just how I function, yet i am curious as to how other people hear my voice and see my behavior. The second I watched this show all I kept thinking was "someone I can relate to" turns out that im hooked to this show now ♥

hey guys, does anybody know: when Lea learns that Shawn has an autism? ( who tells her ) ? I am still watching 1st season, and in one episode she says "you have autism, you are not blind" < when she was teaching him how to drive. but I never noticed, when she learns about this fact, or she somehow understands by herself?

There’s no on-screen dialogue that specifically mentions this. Either Shaun mentioned it at some point offscreen, or Lea knew enough (or looked up enough) about autism to understand that about Shaun.

mohammad rahmani Shaun is not autistic in real life Freddie who plays Shaun is a very intelligent English actor who had just finished 5 seasons of playing Norman Bates in Bates Motel and only had 3 days from completing Bates Motel where he is a serial killer to becoming a resident surgeon who saves lives
