Nicely done... I'm getting ready to build myself a shave horse and like yours so well, I'm going to use your design. I use traditional tools as well as modern tools in my shop. The modern look to a traditional tool such as this shave horse is very appealing. Thanks for sharing this.

Move over Norm ... I think I had a dream about this shave horse once after eating too many Fruit Loops. The video should be titled: 'If Rolls-Royce made shave horses...'. Am halfway through building my own, very rough horse and have just changed my plans for the 'adjustable height head with cuckoo' after seeing yours. Thank you so much for all your effort making this video of building the ultimate shave horse; it will be here for many years inspiring people.

Amazing, I probably have no use for a shave horse, but I love their simplicity and usefulness, this one has to be the best one I've seen, be cool to use the basic design and back part but mate it with a small work bench and some sort of clamp that holds a piece of wood in place like the shave horse, ha! I just seen you don't have a use for one either lol, great build though, love it!..

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I still haven't used it yet :) My neighbor is building a winzor chair and he is getting quite a bit of time on it..

You should really sell plans. I’d buy them in a heart beat. That’s one slick shave horse
@crazy-eyewoodguy44893 жыл бұрын
Thank you Brance, I just made it up as I went a long, but there are plans on the web. Just google Brian Boggs shave horse plans. I haven’t seen them in person so I can’t vouch for the quality. Let me know if you get them I would be curious how good they are.

I suppose if you're going to make a shave horse, then you should put as much effort into it as the rest of your piece. Take pride in your work, no matter what you're doing. That's a beautiful tool you made there.

I am building a Spoon Mule. I would have loved to see you make the seat in regular time not high speed. I understand you needed to cut the video down. maybe you can re post that section at regular speed. Thank you.

Thank you for the comment, Yes I had a huge amount of footage. If I make another Ill break it up into smaller videos with more detail.
