Enjoyed the shave Dave! I’ve almost picked one of those razors up numerous times myself. I think I will now. My favorite old school cartridge razor is the Personna Double II. It’s like a cart/de hybrid. Have a great week. I’m in.

What an interesting razor Dave. I've seen it used on the forums, as well. I don't recall much detail about it, so I'm happy to get your review. Very glad it worked out well. An old school cart that still has the DNA of a SE, maybe? It's vintage (and I assume no longer in production) so that's a perk. At least, if you have to use a cart (air travel, maybe?), you can argue, "I'm not cheating, I'm exploring vintage". 😂 The MacDuffs is truly an amazing soap. Probably my second favorite base. I've killed a few tubs of their unscented Aspen Parkland. Someone is going to get a stunning gift. Kudos for another generous giveaway. Another Great video and another great shave. I love my Wilkinson Sword Bonded system. It has been said that it used the legendary Super Sword Edge blade. I think it’s a true SE in shave quality. I’m in.

Hi Dave, I’ve seen this razor a few times when I’ve been out hunting at thrift stores but never decided to pull the trigger. Looks like it performed well. Never used McDuff’s products- nice looking lather. Anyway, nice shave. Thanks for sharing. I’m in!

Very good Dave! Interesting, kind of like some of the old Feather cartidges, I've thought about them, but haven't tried them. It did do a comparable job to some other mild razors so It might be just a fun experience to have. I'm a big mint fan, so I'm in to try out McDuffs. I didn't know they made a harder soap, so that's cool. That brush that Patrick carved is really awesome and it's always great to see. I'm looking forward to seeing that bee hive brush too. Thanks Ian. Used the beehive recently but I'll get it on video soon. All his soaps are harder than previous versions. This one just went soft and forget the reason he said they can sometimes. Gotcha down 👍

Two questions.. so does the bonded cartridge razor uses half de blades? Insert in cartridge? Also, Dave have you ever used the Winchester Safety Razor? (Saw one on EBay). Assume some blade tweaking would be needed since they no longer make the blades🤷🏼‍♂️. Not sure if that’s posssible

Let's see.....1) the cartridges are sealed units so no idea without busting one open. 2) Maybe, I'd have to look up the razor and see. Many are duplicates with different names. I'll see what I can find out. Thanks 👍
