As someone who is battling cancer I want to thank you. I don't wear wigs but I can understand some do. Kids that lose hair due to cancer just want to fit in. You look beautiful!

I saw her tearing up from the beginning all the way to the end more and more. I would've probably started crying in the middle of the process if I were to do that. Point is, she still went through and pulled it together with shaving her head. She's a beautiful,confident women and she has my utmost respect for what she did. A year after she shaved her head and she's still beautiful. I am so proud for what she did and I hope as the years go by more and more people get inspired by this bravery for what she did. She's a confident women to be standing here today and not only does her beauty and confidence stand, but her honesty to. She kept her promise and went on with shaving her head. Most people probably even counting me would've dodged the process or stopping in the middle of cutting my hair after the goal was achieved. I'm inspired by her deed along with all the other women that have donated there hair to charity. They all, including her, have my greatest respect, and trust as a person that stands on the world right now.

You look quite good with short hair actually. You have nice bone structure and it shows of your face. Not a lot of people can pull off shorts hair put you surely can. You're beautiful with both long or short hair. And you're so so brave. I wish I could be that brave.

Continue your actions for cancers. The womans like you are princesses. Queens. Everything. It's incredible. My hair are very long and very curly and brown because I'm Armenian (so oriental). I don't know if, one day, I'll can have your courage for cut all my hair and give it to an action for cancer. I love watching these videos of people shaving their hair off for a good cause. It happened to inspire me in May 2014. I had contemplated whether or not I should donate my hair, which in the long run, I did. Its really moving seeing women take all this hair and put it to good use. You are very brave and you are very beautiful.

It is wonderful to have the courage to cut your hair off. Being African American and how hair is such an important issue , it is actually quite refreshing to see somebody free themselves of the "hair chronicles." Its cool that you are giving the hair for wigs but it took a lot of courage to even contemplate the idea since most people base women's femininity on their hair length and style.. You look adorable.

Wow! You are an amazing person. So kind and generous. The world is lucky to have you in it. Also, you are really incredibly pretty. I am a two time cancer survivor and that was the most bravest thing I have ever seen anyone do. Even though I have been cured for about 13 years I really appreciate what you have done for the kids with cancer and alopecia .

I've always wanted to try and shave my head. In the last two years or so I've gone from long blonde hair, to long red hair, to earlong red hair, and to a short hairstyle. In the beginning of this summer I just thought "Yeah, why not?" and I just did it. Just put the haircutter to my hair and cut it of. And I love it, never regretted a thing. I can see myself in a BIT longer hair, but not long. Never again. Buzzcut for the win. I did not do it for charity, I just did it for myself, and it boosted my confidence like crazy!

I legit almost cried when I watched this. I had to have my head shaved two weeks ago and my hair went to my sholders, It killed watching it all fall. You are very brave for pulling this off!

if you go to their website it gives you all the info for where and how to send your hair. You just have to tell your stylist (or whoever cuts your hair) to save it in a braided pony tail.

Wigs for kids is actually a lot better than locks of locks. Locks of love sells their wigs. Wigs for kids donates them to children who need wigs. It's awesome

I shaved my hair off a few months ago and raised a lot of money for charity. Whether it looks 'right' matters very little to me because I did a good thing and I'm proud of it :) I say go for it!

You should first shave your head at 3mm to see how it looks like. If you like the style, cut shorter and shorter, and at the end if you think that the look suits you and you want to go further, just shave bald and see how cool it feels. That's the way you should do it, gradually, start with a really short cut and if you like it proceed to shave it off ;) Hope it'll help you, keep us informed!

Pelle McKruth I was talking to her. In her case, her hair can grow back. So its temporary to have shave head. Just making her feel better that hair grows back and what she did was for a good cause :)

Oh my God ! Now, don't hate on me, but why would you shave your head because of that other people are sick ? I am sorry for their condition, but that won't really help them ! I know that people cut there hair to donate it soo that wigs can be made for kids that fight cancer. But that will be just a wig ! It will not cure them. And believe me, they won't feel better because of a wig, they won't ! And now you got bold. Those wigs won't give them confidence and stop other kids from bullying them !

Personally I think that what she did was very selfless and kind, she knows that these kids getting wigs donated to them will help them feel a little bit more normal and not feel like everyone treats them differently to everyone else because they have cancer. Of course it won't cure their cancer but maybe it will make them feel better about what's happening to them.
