the oxidizer is already stored in teh round. problems that could arise are cold welding, maintaining attitude control cause of the recoil(a smaller caliber helps off the bat), but most of all. why you would ever be in a situation where you had to deal with tis. also, the shin pads idea. it wont work because space suits are pressureized, and like a bubble, want ot maintain the highest volume shape with the lowest surface area. which is why even today, our boys and girls on the ISS basically do nothing with their feet in space. honestly, they could probably merge the legs together and have little to no effect on the mission(you can put a divider in the middle if you want the pants feel). anyway, IMO... cool concept... just like anything space related. but the shit pads still baffle me.

He says he wants to make better ISR products with an understanding of the needs of the end users on the ground but you can’t fool me: he’s breaching and boarding the Chinese Space Station. I’d much rather have an ODST suit for space combat. Full armor coverage for .308 minimum, magnetic boots, pressurized temperature regulating suit, full range of motion, internal life support, and supplemental packs for either increased oxygen supply or specialized gear for ship-boarding or planetary missions. Obviously it’s sci-fi for now but all of the tech is possible and exists today; someone just needs to combine it all together.

i will say that the space suit is completely missing a regulator system that goes on the front but thats the least of its problems... at least it looks like a suit to the uneducated eye

Love my SC gear. Have x2 ARC V2 PC's and a chest rig pending (harness availability). Communications/CS needs some work, but, I'm convinced this is the best gear on the market.

I feel quite poorly about the space combat suit. So far, space has probably been the only place where people haven't been actively killing each other. Hopefully it will stay that way.

Guns are going to have to be completely redesigned for space, so you can’t really just retrofit earth stuff to carry the same stuff. For example, your rounds will vacuums weld to each other in the magazine. And so will the gun. And if you do fire that gun a few times it will overheat and melt. Until we have working space guns we don’t really know what carrying them requires. The stuff will look dope in a movie though.

Vacuum welding is not such a big problem a minor leak in a space suit however.. A spring powered 22. Would be a big enough leak in even an armour spacesuit to kill in seconds or minutes
