After that hard work into the ‘65 Shawn has been working on he gets to the car show on time. Had a great Friday evening at the Carquest car show with Hector and his family. For Saturdays car show I also got there on time to enter the ‘65 pickup. Hung out with Hector and his friends also meant some really great people there. Mike also stopped by and hung out for a bit on Main Street.

@@rockabillychavez My fun is over at 65. I had a L4 and 5 S 1 spine fusion at the age of 23. Had filed for Social Security Disability at age 55. Fun was being employed and having the money to have fun. At 52 I was told I had a curvature between the shoulder blades (Thoracic region) now it's moved up to the neck. Premature birth is the cause as Bone hardening is in the 27th week and I got kicked out at the 24th week. Self employment after the spine surgery mixed with Store Merchandising. Now I just get to watch you youngsters having fun and being creative. Wished in my early days I could have been a content creator on You Tube and I'd probably be filthy rich by the time I got to 65. Content creators on You Tube are self employed. Anything over $600.00 is considered earned income. I used to pay my estimated tax monthly while I still had the money. You'll spend it if you try to do it once or twice a year. Just remember (i learned it from physical therapy) "when you want to lift something heavy on the ground, squat like you're pooping in the woods, get a firm grip and lift with your legs"). Stooping causes the most pain today, so a shower chair is used outside to pull weeds.

I had a 76 chevy like Aaron's in my early 20's it was safty orange "tractor store paint" with ss cragers lowered 3" in front and 2" in the rear with a 383 and a turbo 400 if I remember correctly before that I had a 67 f100 390 4 speed I had it on 31 11.50 x15 with slotted mags I loved both of those truck .

I really like those old panel type trucks that you showed at the beginning of this video. I had a chance to buy I believe it was a 1954 Chevy Panel truck about the time I was about to graduate from high school. I turned it down because at the time and even today I can drive a standard transmission if it has the shifter on the column. It had 3 on the tree. Both of my current vehicles a 2005 Dodge Dakota extended cab with a V6 and 6 speed standard and a 2013 Ford Focus with a 5 speed standard floor selector. Like standard on the floor. I did however test drive an early 2000? something Dodge Dart with a standard 5 on the floor that I hated that transmission when you went to shift it once you took it out of one gear to go to the nest if you had left go of the selector if would have just flopped some direction not sure which way it would have gone. I guess I should have went ahead and bought it and just had my dad help me convert it to a floor mount but did not think of it at the time.

I agree Shawn....The Cragar Super Sport wheels are the coolest wheels ever made.........I just wish they made them bigger than 15in....if they were in 18in, my 2021 Tundra Trail Edition would have a set on it.

Great show my brothers. It's good Sean. At least you got some good gift Alicia got some good gifts bro. Right after summer we had a car show in his little town I live 1400 people. I have a 02 T-bird black on black hard and soft top perfect condition. But I made a mistake of leaving the seat covers on her and the steering wheel cover to protect the seats and the steering wheel there is nothing wrong with either one I just wanted to protect the seat. All I got was a coupon to Taco Bell coupon for one taco had a can soda . All I got was a damn soda. But I could have sold that car that day three or four times old people offer me whatever I wanted I thought I didn't want to walk home I want to live three blocks on Main Street I could have gotten 20,000 for it but I didn't want to sell it 76,000 original miles V8. Hey Shawn, Mike. I watched your video before I watched Rory's. Great looking vehicles there. At 0:31 I want the red 48? chevy truck and I want that 76 Ford 4 x 4. I had a 76 F-150 half ton. Wished I knew someone like Hector to have painted it. I had Patriot Blue Emron paint. And it was not cheap. Got quoted 800 but all the body work ended up at 1800 bucks. But how old was Hector in 1982?

I was not born yet...lol, but I grew up with those Ford trucks, and my dad and brother are some hard-core Ford guys for life. Nothing cooler to me than a BigFoot blue Ford dent side truck

@@rockabillychavez Grave Digger was here in NM back in the 80's for a Monster truck show and blew his engine. The engine builder I used for my 79 F-350 extra cab Ranger 4 x 4 had told me back in that day he rebuilt Grave Digger's engine, and the next night won his heat. When I was single, I used to go to those things as well as local car shows. Hobbies change when you get married.

@@rockabillychavez I've seen step sides but don't think I've seen a dent side. At 16 (9th grade) I bought a 1966 Dodge slant 6 with a 3 in the tree for 600 bucks and it had a step side was never comfortable with the gas tank being behind the seat as I was a smoker. It got me to work and all through high school then off to Carpentry school.
