this song has kept me going over the past 4 years after my best friend died from a failed kidney transplant. I think about her almost constantly. This was the song that was played at the start of her funeral. I have often felt like life isn't worth living without her but then this song reminds me of how much of a fighter she was and that she wouldn't want me to join her in heaven just yet. The pain I felt with having depression I would never wish on my worst enemy. There were points where I did not know what to do anymore. I would be so sad I would not know how to handle it. I have been fighting depression for about 5 years now. This song just really stands out to me and I honestly feel like Shawn is writing this song about me. If you’re dealing with depression just know that it is okay to not be okay. Its okay for you to break down as much as you need to. You are so strong and you can handle whatever comes your way. You are all beautiful in each and every way.
