I don't really like the door opening thing, I secretly hate it a lot, but I won't glare at a man who does it for me, just simply thank him, but on our way out, to avoid the situation, I step forward faster and open the door for both of us... It's my way to balance thing out and let the next person know without making things awkward...

Or is it because society expects you to? Or is it because your idea of masculinity? What is your reason? And that will determine why some women let some men open the door or some not. And if your reason is correct and you aren't looking down upon her consciously or unconsciously, I don't think any woman will have problem with you opening the door for her. Ask her reason and tell her yours. Don't go around saying that women don't know what they want when you have never asked her that...

My only problem with this video is the title. "Talks about dating", "being a man". He has made some serious and wise statements in this video but you use his dating life as clickbait. It should being "Shawn Mendes earnestly talks about youth culture, society and musical journeys". That's more accurate and constructive.

what fascinates me about shawn is that he so aware, you can truly feel how deep he cares about people, he really understands how much his actions can affect others and how different and unique each individual is. people usually comment on how nice shawn is but i don't think they really deeply see how nice he is, he's not only nice because he's always apologizing or trying his best to not curse, he's nice because he's aware of his limit and also aware of other people's limits. he's a genuine and respectful young man who honestly deserves more attention for other things besides his good looks.

I am not usually someone who follows celebrities/singers’s interviews and et cetera but honestly Shawn’s way of speaking and overall his personality is quite fascinating. He always says something intriguing and keeps everything really real, which is very rare nowadays, but it’s fucking beautiful. All of his work is incredible too. No wonder why he leaves so many people speechless.

They should change the title. Shawn is more than just a heartthrob. I mean he’s cute and all but the interview just proves how he’s so much more than a heartthrob. He’s very wise and soft-spoken. I love it. Gonna give the new album a listen 👌🏼

I'm a mom and just now becoming a big fan of Shawn Mendes. I always thought of him as a kid. But after watching quite a few of his interviews recently, I see how incredibly mature he is for his age! Wow! The part that got me is that he and his mom have the same tattoo! And he has the tattoo of the voice graph of his family saying "I love you" to him. Aw!! What is there not to like about Shawn Mendes?!

in this interview he is 19, today he is 23 years old. Either way I cannot believe his emotional intelligence and his communication skills. Shawn is so polite and seems like an awesome person to have a great, long, thoughtful conversation with. His answers are so dedicated and meaningful, I could watch his interviews all day. He is seriously so inspiring and kind; everyone needs a friend like Shawn.

I felt like she said that shawn is the wisest one out of all the 19 year olds but he is not...he is a singer...sure he is mature and acts his age there are alot of people his age mature and wise as him...shawn fans needs to stop holding him at the top like he is some King he is just a human...he makes money by singing what does the rest of the 19 year olds do??? They work minimum wage or they go to college...its hard...shawn has it easy like the rest of these celebrities that dont understand what hard work is like in the real world...i would hate to be famous...cuz you cant do alot of stuff and if you do you get criticize for it...thats all i have to say. Sometimes I can't believe myself. I am a 24 year old doctor and I like to think that I am mature for my years. But throghout the interview I was literally fangirling over Shawn Mendes and cried when I came to know that we share the same birthdate. He is just perfect with right amount of class and humility..just my type!!
