In 2005 my wife and I took our honeymoon on the Norwegian Star. I saw this routine in person and it still chokes me up. I watch it when I'm feeling sad about the world and it reminds me of all the wonder and mystery there is to behold. Thank you so very much for a treasured memory.

I've been here 100+ times. The sleight of hand is unbelievable. Just dropped down here to the comment section this time to request if it's possible to see an HD version of it someday? Not from this particular performance, but maybe a new one..? I mean, I know all the tricks in this one, so it's not about it, but rather about the fact that this is so beautiful visually yet so low in video quality after 10 years.

This is probably the best magic trick I've ever seen. Not because it's dazzling or I am fooled, but because it is a mix of incredible skill that certainly was practiced for hours and hours and hours and with that skill, a story. I am blown away each time I watch another video of yours. Like everything, there are levels one achieves in their profession...even in magic. A Master Magician the world has a few here and there sure, but the Master that can smile, actually enjoy their work and others work is a cut above, and you have that. Teller is another, smiling during your trick like he did when he was a child I am sure. USA East Coast tour would be awesome.

Your double lifts and false shuffles are so seemless, it's incredible! I especially love the part with the kings.

Very few card routines can be described as elegant and beautiful but this is one of them. A true magician can suspend reality and amaze the audience. Few can do that like Shawn.

I have watched this trick so many times in the last 5 years. I am a fan of magic. I don't want to know how it is done. I want to appreciate the beauty of it. This particular trick speaks to me as a musician and how you timed it with the music. Some tricks just transcend the actual trick itself and mean so much more. This is one that is pure art. Bravo.

My 9th grade biology teacher shared this video with us one day and i remember being absolutely enthralled by this routine. I had the song on my iPod and would think of this when it came up on shuffle. Almost 16 years later (oof), an artist i follow made a cover of the song and the memory came flooding back.
