I haven’t watched much ch over the last 5years but every now and then I pop in. I remember when Shay was climbing the radio tower and chasing horses and the kids were so small. Time flies.

When I was a teenager these videos were the only thing that brought me true joy. Coming from a broken home and being stuck at home most of the time this was the only thing that really showed me what a normal family was supposed to look like. I've laughed and cried for years watching and looking forward to your videos everyday. I don't think ya'll realize the impact you have on this world just by taking us along in yours. I used to be so jealous of the kids that they had great parents that would take them on so many adventures together. I know making videos is getting harder but keep influencing this world with your presence because new videos are what the younger kids are watching and I know there's kids out there like me looking for guidance on what a normal supportive family is supposed to look like.

I have watched you guys for over 7 years! I am so grateful that I have found your channel since you guys have given me happiness and comfort throughout these years. I am happy to see everyone healthy and uploading again. I feel like I have seen you guys grow so much 😭

Wow I don't even know where to start...I have not seen a Shaytards video since I was in High School. I am now 26. I sincerely used to be the MOST dedicated fan. I cannot believe I am seeing the Butler kids still so amazing so many years later. I first want to thank you all for showing me that I want to work with kids. You videos showed me how to be goofy and loving with kids and my entire career is based now on pediatrics. I sincerely learned so much from your family and choosing kindness when in the sea of negativity. Thank you for continuing this rollercoaster of a journey as a vlogging family and staying true to yourselves. Even through the ups and downs, I can tell by this video you still have so much love. I will never forget when Brock was born and Shay said "there will be another person in this room without anyone walking through that door" and it always stuck with me. I could write forever about my favorite memories I have of your vlogs, but please just know, I feel all the positivity that you have built your family on, even so many years later. Thank you.

I’ve been watching the SHAYTARDS since I was 8 years old and now I find myself doing the same thing at 16. It’s not even funny how you all raised me, and influenced me and so many others to take the most out of every experience in life. I have a little 6 year old sister who I’ve been binging old vlogs with today. I loved explaining who everyone was and explaining that “Babytard” was actually Emmi, and “Princesstard” was Avia. I already see my sister looking up to them the same way I did, and I cant wait to introduce her to every laugh, memory, and inside joke I found myself being a part of when I first watched the vlogs. I am, however, proud to say we watched all the SHAYTARDS Christmas specials today :) You guys are an amazing family and I’m so thankful to see you all back. I grew up with all the kids and you all were, and continue to be a staple of my childhood. Colette and Shay were like my parents, my own parents would watch the vlogs with me and learn something from them. In the end we are all human and life is a learning experience. I've been watching some old vlogs recently. And when shay said,"quiet on set!" it made me think of when baby emmi would repeat him every time he said that! Quietonset!!

It's crazy to think that I have been watching the kids since they were babies and y'all were so much younger. I remember when Emmi locked herself in the bathroom and had to go out through the window. I also remember when the power went out that time and the kids were little and screaming because they were scared. I also remember when Carlie and Cooper were living with you all and it's crazy to see where they are at now. Change is good and so is growing up. RIP still Malachi.
