About Shazam:
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson's (Asher Angel) case, by shouting out one word-SHAZAM!-this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Zachary Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard (Djimon Hounsou). Still a kid at heart-inside a ripped, godlike body-Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. As much as I love Superman, I'm inclined to say this would have been a much better ending considering the standalone nature of the first film.

If the movie had been released at Christmas time, then yes. This was essentially a Christmas movie that was not released at Christmas time so they had to hide the more obvious Christmas elements.

Please James Gunn and Peter Safran, do not abandon the Shazam franchise. The Shazam fam is the greatest thing that ever happened in cinema, plz keep them as your heavy-hitter big or in the small screen or whatever. Let them grow and flourishing bcuz i'm just so in love with these characters🤧🤧

I’m conflicted on this idea. On one hand I wanna keep them cause there so awesome. On the other hand I want them to do a clean slate and it would be weird to see the DCEU versions of these characters.

Bruh it's way better than the faceless Superman ending we got, This ending showed the Shazam Family connection way better, Billy (Asher Angel) was actually acting like Shazam (Zachary Levi) for a while instead of being polar opposite of him and acting serious all the time. Shazam can be a really great stand-alone character, his character can really work without a cinematic universe. Please James Gunn and Peter Safran please save Shazam! TBH, Shazam! is the best DCEU movie for me.

Most people complaining about the microphone showing doesn't even notice the background clearly showing they are in a movie studio instead of outside. LOL.

Or the the fact that the effects were not complete and the lighting was cheesy and them flying was some cheap screen grab scrolled up. They actually catch the actors coming down from their jumps before they "fly away."

@@antoniorivers2040 No it wasn't. Black Adam was supposed to be the main villain of Shazam 1 but the Rock said it would be a "disservice to the character" and they gave him his own movie. He also said he didn't want to be apart of a Shazam movie and wanted him to fight Superman rather than Shazam

Interesting alternative ending. At 2:07 the boom is showing in the center of the screen. They obviously never planned to use this ending because they did not even clean that error up. I liked the two movies, too bad this failed to do well according to the Wall Street Journal so the odds of a third film is very low.

They would’ve decided to cut the scene before they completed the VFX worked needed to mask the boom and patch the set.

To have greatest Amblin effect, a Shazam! trilogy needs to done in the vein of LotR where 3 movies are filmed within 5 years, and the main character should start at 7-9 yrs of age. If this character is to be included in a Justice League war movie 10 years down the road, a 10 yo would be 20, and a 15 yo would be 25. Shazam! naturally has a 4 quadrant market but it needs to be its own universe to properly introduce the character.

I swear it’s sorta like the power rangers especially in the 2nd movie when you had Billy in the middle, saying ready! And everyone else says ready and they all say Shazam! In my head all I can hear was Billy leading the group saying it’s morphin time!

Why are kids "fixing the electrical" for the Christmas tree scene? This doesn't make the kids seem smart, electricity is not magic, what message are you trying to say, a permit is required to "fix" any electrical circuit. Poorly written ending

He said Superman Because he wanted them All to Fly. The Microphone would've been Digitally Erased if they had gone with this Scene. The Background Behind the House Would Have Been Changed As Well.
