My daughter had a storage unit for a couple years and unfortunately she lost it because she didn't have money to pay for it. She lost all of her kids baby stuff she had saved. But thank God the person that bought it looked through her photo album and he knew my daughters grandfather and saw pictures of him so ge found her on Facebook and returned all her photos albums GREAT GUY

My sister rented a storage unit and she lost everything in it because she wasn't paying for it and she lost my mom's cedar chest.

If I was hiding something from my husband, I would definately hide it in withe the cleaning supplies....or the vegetable drawer in the fridge :)

I like watching you guys because your just people trying to earn a living honestly, unfortunately not all the storage hunters are nice people. I looked briefly at one that is supposed to be 'huge'..lol and man this guy would be cleaning toilets otherwise. Not educated has ZERO respect for any personal belongings, and is just plain GREEDY. I think there are a few that are just plain disgusting. YOU GUYS, well, you have a terrific laugh, infectious I'd say, and during this pandemic thing we all got into your groove, you are respectful, and have a note of kindness and I haven't noticed any cynicism or unkind words, so I'ma stick around and find my patience and WAIT for more of your videos as they give me chuckles sometimes and a smile or two.

Fyi you will ruin that particular type of necklace and bracelet by putting them in your pocket, it's herringbone it's easily kinked but not easy to repair

We used to have a storage unit that we shared with some friends , stored our motorcycles in it for the winter. Now , we are all married with kids so we can't afford motorcycles anymore lol

My guess...Grandma went to assisted living/nursing home. This is the stuff left in her house, after choosing the “important” stuff to take with her.

I used to have a storage unit long ago when it was married to my first husband and he was in the military and we were in small apartments but when I divorced him I had a storage unit and had it stolen so I vowed never to have one again if I couldn't put it out I didn't keep it and that's my philosophy to this day

Old maps, magazines, other personal records, etc can be sold on lots to people who do junk journaling. Especially if they are older or vintage.

I got one of those VEG-A-MATICS was my grandmother's then my mom's then me and now passed on to my daughter. 4 generations and it still is working wonderful.

We had a storage unit for about 4 months before we moved. The day after we emptied it the man on reception said he had never known anyone ever hand their keys in because once you have a unit it's for life. NOT FOR US... BUT I LOVE WATCHING YOU.
