This video was awesome,,it really inspired me. Short back story... I've been in recovery from addiction and been trying to find a way to give back to my community. To help not only myself, but to help others. This is a great way for someone like myself who has no money to use to finance anything pro-active for my community. For this enterprise i just need a strong magnet a "go pro" and a honest desire to help others recover lost items that mean the world to the owner. So thanks for the inspiration :-)

@9:26 "soak" your wet phone (item) in DRY, UNCOOKED Rice and it will draw all the moisture out of your device. another idea is to collect all those little packets of anti-moisture things that come in a lot of purchases (i.e. shoes, microphones, seaweed snacks from TJoe's, etc. save them in a bottle until these soggy moments, then immerse your phone/item/device in them. leave for day or three

If you soak the phone in a tin of methylated spirits the sprits will absorb the water, then it will dry out when the spirits evaporate.....alcohol will displace water as the molecules are smaller.

In most Dutch cities, the council will come pick it up. They bring it to the city dump for recycling.
