I think many people in the justice system can benefit from training dogs. You have to be aware of and control your emotions to train them, and of course empathy and self worth. Dogs have taught me so much.

My animals keep me getting up everyday and living. Animals save people lives they bring hope happiness and unconditional love no human can ever give. Kudos to you Ma'am.

Animals are such a gift to humans. I am glad this program exists. The dogs get loved, and the youth learn how to love and nurture, and to accept love in return. This brought tears to my eyes.

Same thing happens when you pair kids or prisoners with handicapped kids. One detention center did that and had amazing results! Great using animals but even better using humans. Kids realize that there are other people worse off than them. Both develop real attachments and the kids learn empathy ❤!

Wonderful program! It's also wonderful for these children to have positive attention from an adult outside of the family. It helps them feel seen and heard and worthy of receiving kindness from someone who has no obligation to them. I hope this program spreads!

dogs literally will love you no matter what you do or what you did in the past. just like she said, as long as you give me love, imma love you back more. (it's not "the kids", it's "our kids" 😭)

That’s an amazing pro Arium because for most kids they just need focus and love. Give them something to focus on let them know someone loves them. They are off to the races. Often our children are scarred by adults they have encountered and just need love and will show you love they don’t care who you are. They don’t care what you look like, they love you for who you are and will never turn their backs on you. Programs like this should be expanded. It doesn’t cost much and we actually need people to train shelter dogs anyway. You save money by reducing crime, keeping children off the streets away from negative and fluentand you support man’s best friend. What more could you ask for?

هذا الكلب الموجودة صورتة على غلاف الفيديو مع الفتى يبدو حقاً أنة كلب نبيل ، كانت لدي قطة كانت كل يوم تأتى من الشارع ثم تنام معى في السرير فوق قدمى وأنا نائم أو فوق صدري ثم بالصباح ترحل وتذهب للأكل والشرب واللعب مع أقرانها ثم وقت النوم وأنا نائم أشعر بوجود شيء ما فأفتح النور فأجد قطة تنام فوق قدمى أو فوق صدري معى على السرير فأتركها تنام بدون أن أبعدها عن المكان الذي تنام فية ثم أنام ثم بالصباح ترحل وتذهب للشارع لتقابل أقرانها وتأكل وتشرب وبالليل وقت نومى تعود لتنام فوق قدمى وأنا نائم وهكذا وهكذا كل يوم لمدة عدة أشهر .. لقد أصبحت أضع لها دلاء من الماء بجوار الباب بغرفتى حتى لا تذهب للحمام لتشرب من صنبور المياة فتسبب مشكلة مع أمى وأصبحت أضع لها طبق من فلين بجوار الباب بة أي حاجة بواقي أسماك ، شرش أو قشطة لبن لا أحبها ، مخبوزات قديمة أي شيء .. لم أمسك بالقطة وأضعها رغما عنها في المنزل لأننى أعلم أن للقطة حياة أخري بالشارع وبالجوار لكنها تأتى فقط لكى تتدفأ فوق قدمى ولأنها تحبنى ، فلهذا أدعو لعدم ربط الكلاب وأجبارهم على المكوث بالمنزل ليكن الباب مفتوح والكلب غير مربوط ثم هو يمضي فترة من الوقت بالبيت ثم ينطلق إلي حياتة الثانية مع أقرانة وأصدقاؤة الخ (ومن الممكن أن يجد كلبة أخري من القفير ليتزوجها) ثم أذا أحب أن يعود من جديد للمنزل لزيارة صديقة الأنسان فهو يعود وحدة . (يعنى نفس الطريقة التى كنت أتعامل بها مع القطة التى أحبتنى)

I have a Rescue, Buddy Holly. He was so afraid of everything, he was just one year old, afraid of loud noise, riding the Car, a Halter and Leash, a kiss, a pet. He was almost paralyzed with fear, now, a year later, he's my Sidekick, my traveling Companion. He loves to be petted and hugged. What Joy he's given me. Now, a Confident, very spoiled Fella.
