Brennan in the last episode thought the Divine Intervention from K2 couldn't happen because they were a simulacrum so he just blasted them. Upon reading the rules as he said I think in the Adventuring Party for that episode, he realized that a simulacrum can cast Divine Intervention. and was like "Okay you can get her back or allies, weapons,etc" as K2 shouldn't have died to the Divine Intervention.

No. Brennan killed her, because she said Blimey and Cassandra was not even her god, which is why she died, because she divine interventioned a god that wasn't hers.

She's hilarious only by accident (on her part, Brennan's was intentional) after all. Each of the rat grinders portrays a toxic player trait in D&D from rules lawyering to edgelord loners to raging out whenever someone seemingly has a bigger moment than you. Mary Anne's is perhaps the greatest sin of all: being completely disinterested in the stakes, roleplay, and other players in general tbh. She's the kind of D&D player that makes you wonder why she's not just playing Warhammer 40K. It's one thing if you're in a crunchy campaign with crunchy players, but when others are repeatedly trying to get you to engage and you won't play ball it's kind of a buzzkill ngl. So of course someone who by her nature is uncaring and couldn't give less of a fuck about her friends or the narrative around her is 100% cool with a party member dying. She wasn't the one who died, not her problem. Git gud scrub.

@@lindseyjennings121 Ivy's main trait was being consistently rude to everyone in place of having a real personality, Buddy was a hypocritical evangelical nightmare ("The wrath of Helio is not unto me!") and Oisin might have been just a "Nice GuyTM" (I wish we had more scenes with him to confirm). You could also add "rules lawyer" to Kipper-Lily's credentials, since she "found" the rogue teacher and performed other cruel acts through extremely underhanded means.

@@lindseyjennings121 I had interpreted Oisin's "um ackshuallyyyyy" moments as rules lawyering, but it could easily be applied to Kipperlily's Grix-related antics. She _does_ have a grudge against the bad kids seemingly for their rule breaking, but considering she's addicted to PvP I think her rage is her main issue there, any rules lawyering on her end is her being a hypocrite. Buddy is, as NKULTRA said, the typical paladin (despite being a cleric, clerics do this too anyway but it's a LG paladin stereotype) who behaves completely inappropriately when interacting with people who don't follow their god/live their lives by their oath. Ivy would be solidly in the camp of snark (again, thanks NKULTRA!). I've seen people reference her trying to get in Fabian's pants as a "horny player" thing but she only did it once and she was trying to girlboss manipulate him anyway. We would have to have seen her femme-fataling much more to actually label her with that. And I think Brennan would be uncomfortable doing that himself. He's been doing the most work to avoid sexualizing these teenagers out of the whole party, aside from Murph. There's few worse things in a group collaboration game than having a good time and someone in the party just can't resist trying to take you down a peg. A snarky party member is something that should only be rped by someone experienced with social cues who knows how not to accidentally let the attitude bleed out of the game.

More than likely because they're chromatic. That doesn't inherently mean they HAVE to be evil, but they do *tend* to be evil. Redemption can be found anywhere though, so I'm sure there's chromatic dragons or draconic beings somewhere in the world of Spyre that are good.

@@adcon00 That's not entirely true. We've also heard of other deities and devils, who we know are good, evil, and otherwise. We've not seen them, but they still help shape the world of Spyre. Gruumsh, as an example, a god of war, progenitor of all Orc kind, the one eye, is present within the world. We haven't seen him, but he's still there.

@@gabrielbjornursidae I'm afraid I just don't agree. For me, it's always been about "on-camera" representation, where the characters we see and the actions they take matter more than the greater lore.
