Everyone’s reaction when she says, “cut your fingers…clean off” they all cringe and she follows it with, “so you can never hold me down” and their like “oh…ok” like now somehow it’s justified. 😂. She has such a powerful voice with amazing range and control! I’m glad she is getting the attention she deserves!

The line at the end, "put your keys in your knuckles like I have to," a reference to the way many women (and fem people) have to walk to their cars with keys sticking out between their fingers as a defensive weapon because being jumped is so likely, cuts so hard. Such a raw performance, and... speaking from experience, you can hear the rage and pain of someone who's had hands on them like that. "Cut your fingers clean off" -- so you can't put them on somebody like that ever again. Beautiful.

It’s just amazing. Whenever I watch reactions to this performance I can’t help but think how it makes it crystal clear why Ren and her consider each other musical siblings. They both just have that something special that draws you in and demands attention. Both deserve to be known by everyone across the globe.

She did do a live version of "Little Girl Gone" that's different enough from the official video it's definitely worth a reaction. As far as I can tell, Chinchilla's debut album came out in 2020 when she was about 22 years old and the world was starting a pandemic. There are only a couple videos on her KZfaq channel, so maybe she didn't get a whole lot of support for the album. I think she's mostly just been "paying her dues" and finding her feet. "Little Girl Gone" is by far her biggest hit with almost 5 million views each on the lyric video and the official video. It only came out 3 months ago, so hopefully this is the start of her becoming more well known.

So glad you got around to this one! Chinchilla should definitely be more well known. So much better than the majority of what gets radio play. As someone else said there is a live version of Little Girl Gone out now. She calls it a requiem, which is a mass for the dead, so theres a hint to the direction she took it. Also check out Elements for a totally different vibe from her. Not live, it says lyric video, but Chinchills is performing in it.

It's not really my music but even I see that she's incredible. Her voice is brilliant, her control, her range, the variations in her tones are so good. And most importantly, her music, while sounding radio friendly, is lyrically fresh. It's such a nice change from the standard pop stuff.

She has an EP called "Awakening" and ALL the songs on it are truly out of this world. My 3 favourites are "Shadows", "One Time" and "Know No". There is video with all the songs so PLEASE try to do at least one of the songs I mentioned. I nearly forgot another song called "Terms and Conditions", a real powerful but funny song and worth a look. She also released one during the Covid lockdown called "Lockdown Getdown" which cheered us all up during lockdown here in the UK. Have fun guys, lol.

I have it and work out daily to it. It is about 20 minutes and that is the length of time I take hiking up and down my trails, it is perfect. The first time I heard "only wanna take you home to f"ck you"...I lost my footing for sure and almost beefed it. Shocked needless to say, but love it all and it is my hiking 20 min. mesh of 5 songs.

From what I've gathered from others, while this seems like it may be about a toxic personal relationship, it's actually about her break from her old management agency (who I believe Ren also used before going Independent). I'm happy to stand corrected on this though
