When my wife and I were first married, we got into this HUGE fight. She was throwing dishes at me (which we couldn't afford to replace that's how broke we were). I grabbed her wrist and told her to calm down and she proceeded to dig her nails into my chest and left 8" scratches down the front of my chest. Once she calmed down and she saw the scratches she was so sorry, and I told her right then and there. You EVER do this to me again, in any shape, I'm gone. Plain and simple, I will not stay with an abusive women or relationship (we'd been together for 3 years and this was the first of seeing her like this). We are happily married for almost 40 years, and that was the only time where she and I came to blows. Men we don't have to take it just because they are women, they make mistake just like we do. Give them a chance ONE, to correct themselves, after that. Move on.

Once me and my sister once fought. She always started first. I'll admit, i sometimes get strict, she isn't allowed to make a mess, i clean the kitchen. If she doesn't clean up after herself, i yell at her. But i would get yelled at. So once, i saw her mess and i pressed record and try not yelling and being calm. She pushed me to the ground and kicked ger foot from the ground, she ended up trying to hit me, i blocked and took her to the ground and sat on her and kept recording. She tried calling the cops, i called my mom and exsplained the whole situation and showed the recording. The first time i planned ahead to record. I didn't get yelled at. She ended up throwing a fit and grabbed her stuff to leave to her bf house. She never comes home while im home anymore. She still hasn't found out that her boyfriend is cheating on her. I don't plan on telling her anytime soon.

It never ceases to amaze me how many women dont understand, how much men hold back, just because they are woman. I had a bad childhood, so i have zero tolerance for pointless violence. During an heated argument with an ex-gf, i got hit by her two times and i told her calmly "no matter how small this fight may be, if you hit me again... 3 strikes and you are out". She hit me again, i went to my room took my cuffs (at that time i was an police-officer in training), came back, very easly pinned her down, cuffed her and took her to the station. After she spend the night in a cell, she found all of her belongings boxed outside the house. I had switched the lock and even rented her a moving truck. She banged against the door and screamd alot, i told her if doesnt stop and leave i would take her to the station again... she packed and went away. That was the end of a 3 year relationship

Yeah, it continues to be a weird argument to me. The same women justifying all their toxic behaviors on the fear of how a man might react have no problem getting into a man's face and doing things they know will upset him. Like she'll claim to have a headache to not have sex for fear her husband will force himself on her, but she'll make him go apple picking when he wants to watch the Sunday game. A lot of domestic abuse accounts tell you that you try not to create situations that could trigger the abuser. If women really thought of men that way, there's a lot of things they wouldn't be initiating.

When I was a little boy growing up there was this girl who would just hit me for no reason (I don't mean lightly hit, me full on slap me in my face or my head) after the second time she did this, I felt there was nothing I could do, I told my mother about it, and her advise was. "Never hit a girl, unless she hit you first, then hit her back like she was any other kid hitting you." Well sure enough the same girl came up to me after school and slapped me in the back of my head hard. So I hit her back harder than she had hit me, she cried and told her parents. Her parents showed up at my house my mother answered the door as her parents informed her that I had hit their daughter. Thank God for my mother, she informed them if they didn't want their daughter to be hit by her son, then tell their daughter to keep her hands to herself. I've only employed this 2x and never needed to do it again. Most females don't usually hit males (but sometimes they do.) maybe a man has never hit them back, I'm sure it wont be good.

She responded with: "I have always believed in the right of every woman to be paid the same as a man for the same job. But she also said that with equal rights comes equal burdens and that FACTS not FEELINGS matter. That video of the woman hitting the man reminds me of a video I saw a few years ago. An upset woman was in a pizzeria just being angry and loud. She was yelling across the counter at the people in the back who were making pizzas. When that didn't work (for whatever her goal was) she knocked a container of straws off the counter and onto the floor. That was it. One of the big guys from the back came running over, and as soon as he starting leaping over the counter, she realized that she had gone too far and starting saying, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." That didn't deter him. I don't know if she was actually a customer or not, but this guy grabbed her by the back of the head, marched her to the door, and literally threw her outside.

The Sad part is just because public perception of self defense is clear in the legal system it isn't always cut and dry/black and white. Society and the judicial system have for along time frowned upon a man hitting a woman even in self defense, a lot of domestic violence legislation isn't as unbiased as it appears and men were/are actively dissuaded from pressing domestic violence charges and or not treated equally under the law. a man isn't given legal protections like a TPO after an assault nor is the woman who assaulted him in a DV incident barred from returning to their residence after bail or arraignment like a man would be. There are two sets of rules one for women one for men and sentencing is far from similar, the nutjob female that stabbed her BF over 20 times killing him cause she was tripping and given a slap on the wrist is a perfect e3xample of it cause if it was the BF he was getting life without parole for murder. Or to relate to this incident look at the Australian streamer who's wife repeatedly hit him even when he was holding his child while streaming. Dude snapped and hemmed her up and got arrested and convicted of DV yet the wife was given a pass on charges and allowed to play the victim even with the video evidence proving she provoked his actions by repeatedly striking him. Having video doesn't change over a hundred years of socially or judicially acceptable behavior legal or not.

When you hurt a man, physically or emotionally... at first they will brush it off. First it will be like "oh, she didn't mean it like that". Or I misunderstood what she meant. Or "It was an accident". But if you keep doing it, then, sooner or later they WILL know. Forgiveness only lasts so long. A man can deal with hurt, with pain, with rejection. Our lives are built on it, from every approach for dating, every football field tackle, to every "suck it up, princess" But what they cannot deal with is repeated disrespect and humiliation. Just realize they may not react straight away. But they will think upon it and brood upon it every single day. EVERY. SINGLE. F*CKING. DAY. And plan. Oh yes, how we can plan. Logical creatures men. For creatures who show little emotion we can take the couple of steps further to not just showing no emotion but having no emotion at all. And then, to having no emotions at all but hate. A man has a lot of brain power to think on how they process that revenge and they will be single minded on that task. And when they decide how they will react to that, I can promise you it will be brutal. The nuclear option is mild compared to a man in his rage and hurt. You will have no one to blame for it but yourself. A good man who has been hurt one time too many is the perfect weapon because he has suffered and saved up so much pain there is no limits to what he will deliver in his revenge.

Assault is assault. The level of damage from a blow is besides the point. If you intentionally hit a man as a woman, You're likely doing so because You're trying to take advantage of his upbringing and societal stigma that taught him he shouldn't strike back. Most respectable men dont strike ladies, but a lady wouldnt strike a man to begin with. So by striking him, you're not a lady. Therefore, a man who would be struck has no need to practice restraint in the face of such blatant disrespect, and he ought to act accordingly as he would to a man doing the same.

if woman in trouble is NOT a family member or real close friend, and doing so does NOT put your life in jeopardy, always run away and call the cops. Never put yourself into a dangerous situation as a man. Some examples of what I've experienced trying to help women and children: 1) saw a woman crying walking in the middle of a street a few blocks from my college dorm, around 2AM in the morning. I tried to help her and she tried to stab me. 2) saw toddler maybe around 2-3 years old walking along side the road by himself. i pulled over and called the cops and the cops were interrogating me as a suspect. 3) neighbor (women) asked me to help her with her rent and she would pay me next month. I loaned her half ($500) but she never paid me back. 4) saw a couple arguing, pushing and slapping each other. i asked the woman if she was ok, and they both yelled at me to mind my own business. 5) half of the times i open the door for women, they give me the ick look, like i'm a predator.

A friend of mine was the Virginia state arm wrestling champ in his weight class in the late 80's. He was not super rocked up , we called him chicken chest , bird legs. He explained to us that technique plays as more to it than brute power. The first thing he told us was to cut the opponents wrist. Look at how she has his wrist folded over (or cut as they say). Then you pull their arm towards you which elongates their arm so they lose leverage. So with the wrist folded and the arm streched out it makes it real hard for an opponent to come back , then its just a matter of stamina to outlast their effort.

She went crazy trying to scratch his face up but she didn't get a chance because he nearly took her head off with just a slap. If she had been Daffy Duck her head would have spun around like his beak. She was on the floor wondering wtf just happened while her equally drunk friends tried to drag her away. There were two bouncers on the door but they saw everything and just told the guy it was her fault and to go home. The other women were screaming at the bouncers to kick the shit out of him etc even though he only defended himself. It was crazy just how fast it all happened.
