Several things: 1. Nicholas Barasch here is awesome. Just saw him in Hadestown and loved it 2. Now I see why this one best set design 3. Benati is absolutely perfect as Amalia. Everyone else is great but she is just flawless 4. Tonight at 8 is quickly amongst my favorite musical songs ever

same, i watched this in a local theatre and was completely shellshocked afterwards, and for the whole intermission 😭 it was so heart wrenching

I remember not even being excited to be cast in this show because I had never even heard of it. First read/sing through was all it took, this show is so GORGEOUS. I was Sipos, but we had to raise the key of Perspective up 4 whole steps because I’m a countertenor 😂

I remember when I watched the show on the Friday before the Tonys, when he delivered that line and then walked away I was in complete hysterics. 🤣 🤣 It’s not the same on screen.

Aaaaah I love this musical so much!!! Especially love how my celeb crush Zachary Levi is in this redition of an amazing musical!! Sooo hilarious yet what a cast oh my goodness!! This is amazing!! My favorite part has to be the restaurant scene hehehe!! Zachary as Georg is such a dream in this role hehehe I got problems!! Awwww when it came to Mr. Maraczek commiting suicide, my heart jumped so bad!!

The BroadwayHD streaming service has it. I think PBS sells it in dvd format too. It was filmed for the long running PBS series Great Performances. Prior to She Loves Me Zachary Levi made his Broadway debut in the musical First Dates.
