惢心：左邊是純貴妃的，右邊是金玉研的這裡也可以看得出來惢心對她們倆位的態度問題來了，萬一容佩看錯把紅玉髓的給純貴妃的怎麼辦（當時兩人的左右都是相反😂）

For one so vicious and calculating throughout most of the series, jia is surprisingly a big whimp when it comes to any actual pain. I find it quite comical especially without evil she is. She cares about her kids, I'll give her that. But she's very cold and calculating as well.

in the original novel, Qianlong did suggest to Ruyi to move out of Yikun'gong Palace, and suggested 3 alternative relocation sites, but Ruyi eventually refused and preferred to stay put (as to match history) Qianlong's suggested palaces and the reason behind Ruyi's objections: 1. Changchun'gong Palace - Langhua's previous residence, obviously out of the question 2. Jing'ren'gong Palace - Yixiu's previous residence, very insensitive as to even suggest it in the first place 3. Chengqian'gong Palace - the only remaining non-objectionable alternative, yet Ruyi opined that Chengqian'gong Palace had been unoccupied for a long time, and the repair period would be a huge bother to everyone in the imperial harem (due to the necessity of the daily Morning Greetings) Notes: 1. as an aside, "Yanxi Palace" placed Step Empress (Charmaine Sheh)'s residence at Chengqian'gong Palace 2. according to extant historical records, Chengqian'gong Palace was actually Empress Xiaoxianchun's first residence upon Qianlong Emperor's ascension to the Dragon Throne, only relocating to Changchun'gong Palace after 8 years

@@Binge-watching Concubine Shu is not the typo they were referring to. Go to 12:14. She is referring to Zhen Shu, Imperial Concubine Jia's palace maid that was sent back home. Instead of Zhen Shu, the subtitles typed Uncle Shu. Zhen Shu and Uncle Shu sounds alike.
