She is a gem find for that cast. When they had the episode written where she was going to sing, she said, 'I'm not a singer.' She said she learned to sing for the part. Giiiiiiiirl! She IS a singer. I watched both the UK and US series and they're both great. I watched the UK Christmas finale and cried. I'd been watching that troupe since they did 'Horrible Histories'. I really hope they come back together with something new.

We do love the US version of Ghosts soooo much. Danielle has such great energy and such infectious joy. We're rewatching Season 1 and 2 to prep for the start of season 3.

I went to Temple and am so happy she and her classmate are making it big🎉 Fun fact: I first heard this interview on audio as I was cycling so I couldn’t see her and I just loved her energy and enthusiasm and humor! So when I got home, I watched it again on KZfaq. She’s just a bundle of explosive energy, and I love that captain Hook costume and story. What spunk!

Yeah, the were similar for a start and it's obviously the same premise but it's good they've gone in different directions. It helps it stand apart from the UK version.

I think the reason it was able to work in the US is because they made enough changes to separate it from the UK version. I first saw the UK version on, I think, Amazon Prime and LOVED it and was very nervous about the US version, but the changes they made make it just as good as the UK. I love them equally.

LOVE the US version of Ghosts, it’s rare that a British show moves over the pond very well but the first season was good and the second season was great! I’m very pleased to hear there will be a season 3, hope it goes well guys!

Other UK shows that are popular in North America All in the Family, Veep, The Office, Shameless, Too Close for Comfort, Sanford and Son, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, Supernanny, etc...

@@TMax-hx8bl Reality shows shouldn't really count, they're designed to work anywhere. Dramas and comedies are a totally different ball game. While it's true that some shows have crossed over, many more didn't make it. Most notably from memory, Red Dwarf, Absolutely Fabulous, Taskmaster, Inbetweeners, Spaced and Skins. Also, Veep was never a UK show. It has similarities to The Thick Of It but it's not a US version of it. They even tried to get The Thick Of it made in the US but it didn't reach pilot stage. 🙂

It's not. I saw a review that said they used personal circumstances to fit the plot twist in. Sheila had a baby in December, so I'm guessing it was her for maternity leave purposes (I also think they might try brinf her back somehow)

Clarify: it's "Ghosts US", not just "Ghosts" as it's a complete copy of the original British BBC series "Ghosts". Why you have to make an American remake rather than just showing the original BBC version I don't know.
