The Lodge Card Club is a members-only social club in Round Rock, Texas (just north of Austin). With 24/7 cash games and 2+ tournaments per day, The Lodge is THE place to play poker in central Texas. The Lodge Live is streamed every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 3PM CT.
You never know what you might see on The Lodge Live stream. You might see Pocket Aces vs Pocket Kings. You may see the nut straight lose to a full house after the board pairs on the river. There's a good chance you will see loads of straddles (and double straddles, and triple straddles). Players go all-in blind or play poker hands after looking at just one card. That's just what poker is like in Texas!
The stream regularly features Lodge owners Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Doug Polk. Players like Rampage, Mariano, and Igor Kurganov has also graced The Lodge Live felt. And who knows? One day The Lodge may even host players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, or similarly huge poker names.

He used to be a dealer here at Dallas. The room where he dealt was full of action donkeys. They all congregated at that card room cause it had dealers choice and the holdem games had button straddle with ultimate last action so his understanding of the game has been completely warped by his experience there.

Seems pretty reasonable given the open came from EP and she's not closing the action. There was a straddle behind her left to act.

@@jscholex these hands end up losing you money long term. Very hard to play OOP without the betting lead vs multiple players and you have poor visibility on your hand strength when you do hit a pair. If you do want to play this hand it’s a clear 3 bet (especially because there was a caller in between and more dead money).

First hand easy fold after reraise on the flop against 2 opponents. 2nd hand she did nothing wrong. 3rd hand she's on tilt, but t1000 is loose aggressive player so not the worst play against him, probably a 50/50 most of the time. 4th hand nothing wrong dead money, good enough play. 5th hand standard spot, not that tilted, 50 50 play.

She plays “Tiny Stack”…you need to know when to go all in when playing that way. I had a good method doing that, and won a lot, but small wins since your stack is small, but if more player go in you scoop. Try to 5 times your money and cruise the rest of the night.

Quite a range she has ... and she pulls the trigger early which probably makes the table slow and boring, but you can tell people figured her out. When they have the nuts against her, they rope her in. Sort of sad to watch honestly.

Didn't she rebuy twice for $1500? I don't think she was babying anything... sometimes after losing a big pot you want a 5 minutes to chill down before you refill your stack. I call cringe if I see it but this was super normal poker with standard raises/all-ins.
