At just nine-years-old, Shirley Ivie began playing the piano at Wellston Christian Church. Now over seven decades later with the church, she's receiving a heartwarming surprise.

I am a church organist I am a 15 year old boy + autism but I love to do it and I don’t to it for the purpose of money but my cousin did ask why don’t you do it for the money 💰 and I said because I love the good lord and I just want to do it ❤

Not really. Neither the church nor the bank giving the award are trying to make up for 75 years of unpaid service. Shirley played, using her God-given gift for the glory of God. While a larger amount would have been nice, I got the feeling from the story that Shirley was enjoying the celebration of those 75 years with her friends and family more than the money itself.
