Жыл бұрынWhile asking people to sing in New York City, I met Antonios. At first, Antonios seemed quite excited to sing, bus his companion was very much against the idea. She tries to pull him away from the microphone. But what Antonios really wanted is for them to sing together. So with some persistence, he convinces her and she warms up to the idea of them singing together. So they choose a song and start to sing!
As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me for Free" series exists. Since 2018, I have asked thousands of random people to sing with me on camera. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away. I ask these people to sing with one purpose: to create a way for them to experience a sense of happiness and freedom they did not feel before. And much of the time, this actually works (and that makes ME happy).

Wow, they didn't want to sing at first and then they created such a magic and spontaneous atmosphere and so many people stopped to listen to them. Such a beautiful duet and of course a big thank you to Reggie and his big passion for music, guitar and bringing people together, freeing them from their own fears and self-judgements. The control and agility in her voice comes from a lot of hours (maybe hundreds +) of rehearsing, singing or songwriting combined with singing and phrasing etc. Believe that!

I love how most of the times people start nervous but eventually their insecurities melt away and the joy of the moment begins to flow more confidently but more importantly more pure. Their melody becomes so infectious that I often find myself singing along. And the crowds that the singing creates, they may not always be huge but they are always happy and appreciative. That is a beautiful thing. Way to go Reggie.

SHE was so lovely of a singer. Why did she put up such a dislike at the notion of him or her singing? Really amazingly lovely and it got me back into not worrying which i needed. She was so worried .
