Some words of wisdom I heard once were "Nobody gets rid of a problem free truck." It cleaned up really nice. Looks like it was worth the time and money.

Isn’t that the truth. We’re very pleased with how it came out. I’m sure it’ll continue to be a work in progress.

That’s like saying. Why wash your truck,it’s just gonna get dirty again. Some people get it and some people don’t.

Fender mirrors too. Those holes would drive me nuts.
@GCCGarage3 ай бұрын
We filled the holes with stainless bolts temporarily, but we’re on the hunt for a new hood. That type of stuff drives us nuts too.

The "Ol Girl" cleaned up like a shiny new penny 😊 Now it time for her to generate some revenue at a fraction of the cost of one of the new sensored plastic trucks. AND Do it more reliably yer sum smart fellers 😅

Thanks, old trucks are a labor of love, but it’s much more practical than chasing issues with emissions equipment. Makes it feasible to keep all repair in house as well.

We appreciate the kind words John. It certainly takes a lot of energy, but after weeks of hardworking it’s nice to step back and see the end result!

A lot of sleuth work, but what a result! So much easier if you could just talk to the driver(s)....

If your going to change the motor mounts use original rubber not the blue ones

I’m having similar shakes to my rig 6nz with a 18 speed I’m going to look into hopefully it calms the shakes
@GCCGarage3 ай бұрын
We’ve had really great luck with the Atro poly bushings and motor mounts. The only thing I would suggest is replacing them all, as you don’t want to mix rubber mounts with the poly ones. Hope you’re able to fix your vibration.

@GCCGarage3 ай бұрын
Hahaha! I told Garett that we could run some lights down the fairings when we paint the frame. I’d just like to repair the side fairings first. 😂 Glad you enjoyed the video!

@@GCCGarage even if you put just a few glass watermelons like three down the sides and both mirrors it would look really good.
