Season 3, Episode 2
Gordon visits Flamangos in rural Whitehouse, New Jersey. Mother and daughter owners Adele and Cheryl are stuck in their tropical ways but their restaurant is far from paradise. They are in deep financial trouble and Adele struggles to get on with her staff, is disappointed by her chef and hates Gordon with a passion. Gordon has one last chance to bring them all around and make the restaurant a success.
Season 3, Episode 3
Gordon visits Bazzini restaurant in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Owner Paul Bazzini was an award-winning chef in New York who decided to run his own restaurant but he never realised how difficult the change would be. Now, he finds everyday tasks overwhelming and his passion for food is in danger of being extinguished by the daily grind. However, passion isn't the only problem in this failing restaurant.

according to the fan wiki Adele couldn't maintain her smile for long, and redecorated the place, but at least Gordon's menu remained in place. Gordon returned and the place was still successful, although Adele still publicly complained about being on Kitchen Nightmares in other forums. The restaurant still closed in 2011 when Bill and Adele retired to Florida. Cheryl is now an interior designer. Paul hired a new sous chef, but Sharyn left to start her own dessert business. Bazzini closed in 2010, but Paul is still a chef

To be honest as much as I think change is good he could’ve kept it a tropical theme, but made it better and less tacky. I sometimes feel bad when these restaurants get a whole different revamp because a lot of them had unique looks and styles that made them stand out. Cus I know there’s ways to impress customers while also doing it for yourself.

There's an issue I have with these, especially the American ones, is a sense of unearned growth the owners have. They show very serious character flaws that will not be dealt with a serious 2 minute 1v1 with El Gordo. You cannot fix a broken family with a few "are you serious? Remember that love and respect exist and you can do it!" Is it even real? Its uncomfortable.

I can’t stand when I go to a restaurant and the menu is huge. Well for one, when there’s a huge menu, you know it’s not going to be fresh. It’s impossible to keep that many items like that. But mainly just end up getting stressed and annoyed with having to read and decide.
