She is very smart, she explains herself well. Watching her interview triggered a memory of when I was doing Security for Walmart & at 3am a homeless woman walked in & went straight to the donuts started packing a box of donuts up & started to walk out. The Walmart employees seen this and started following her & yelling to get my attention "hey! She's stilling!get her" i was just like uhhh okaayy... like calm down, all I seen her with was a donut box 🙄 people are just naturally so fkn harsh to the homeless. I stopped her gave the donuts to the screaming employees 🙄 and took her to the side to talk to her, I ask "whats wrong? Do you need help? Why are you taking that? Are you hungry?" She starts to talk, I noticed a mouth full of blood and hanging gums, I ask "are you okay? Why is your mouth bleeding?" She says she got all her teeth pooled out for free by the mobile dentist & they said they don't stitch up gums because they need to heal by themselves & the only thing she can eat was something soft. It was so sad. I gave her what I had in my pocket like $5 I told her "go back in the store & buy what you can with this, I'm sorry your going through this, show me the receipt after" she did go buy a few cinnamon buns and showed me on the way out. She was a kind hearted soul just needed some help. Sometimes you need to show some understanding & kindness, we are all human no matter the situation & people forget about that, its sad. Even if it's my last dollar ill give it to someone in need, I know God will come through for me even if im struggling in the "sunshine state". Praying for those surviving tough times🙏

Unfortunately she’s lying, which is super sad. Every time I was at food city or Walmart she approached me, she always asked for money. There were several times I had given her money and she would walk over to the dealers at the bus stop and I’d see her smoking blues. Eventually I offered food and food alone, to which she refused many times. There was never any mention of children being with her at all. Her story always changed, and she didn’t recall that she’d previously approached me and asked me for money on many occasions.

I absolutely believe this. I had already noticed an inconsistency in her story...first she said that she lost her jobs because of social distancing, then she said she lost her jobs (and everything else) because of her drug addicted boyfriend. Listening to her telling her story just gave me the feeling that she wasn't being authentic. I hope that she is able to get some help and turn her life around for the better.

I know it would break my mother's heart she be afraid to get that phone call from the police that they found her dead on the field/streets somewhere. But to make a long story short my sister turned her life around for the good. She is doing very well for herself. ( But there is one question I had to ask my sister WHY did she choose that. life. Homelessness is on the rise due to rent's going up also. My rent went up $200 from one month to the next. It's easier hustling $600 for rent.. when you don't have a job... Than $800! I feel so bad, I cant even imagine living in a car with a child let alone 2. I pray she can get herself together and somehow get help with getting an apartment etc its places I have seen on KZfaq where addicts on the street of Kensington were placed into their own apartments etc.

This troubles me. Most of us are only a couple paychecks away from not having a home. I think a lot depends on if you have family that can help. minimum wage really needs to go up. People without skills can't live on what it is now. A place to live is pretty basic.
