Sr. Alisa SVM, a feminist at heart, grew up in a very pious family and she longed to become the bride of Christ from the tender age of 4. In everything she did, she depended on God. When she sent in her college applications, she got into 6 out of 10 colleges she applied to; she was even given a $60,000 scholarship to Trinity College. She turned it all down to become the bride of Christ.

I was also a Hindu and yes I have read the Sanatan Dharma scriptures but I found happiness and peace in Christianity. Now I'm a Christian and now I read the Holy Bible and Christian books. And my dear friend do you know how many Christians are killed for being Christians in India by the RSS and Bajrang Dal goons... Last year during Christmas many churches were vandalized and many Christians were threatened and persecuted for being Christians... The ruling party didn't even said a word and never objected such henious acts . Everyone knows what happened to Christians in Orissa. Many Christians were burnt alive 😭😔 Lastly I would like to tell you that please don't say Christians lur people by giving money and convert. No it's not possible and it's not acceptable. We can't do that also Christans never kill others for not converting in Christianity infact it's the RSS, Bajrang Dal, Karni Sena, VHP and various other right-wing communities who kill Christians and other for being Christians and force some poor people to convert to Hinduism. They also kill other minorities without showing humanity and tolerance..

Your words truly inspires me sister. Iam in low stage of my life but these words gave me strength and immense happiness. As a feminist I always become sad when I read certain portion of bible, but I always remember that the greatest feminist is my god Jesus & his mother blessed Mary, which gives me a hope to live. The Church is not going to get many vocations when we have women like this becoming nuns without being corrected. They will teach their distorted mentality to kids and they will not even remain Catholic. There is a reason why convents are closing down in the West where such nuns took control. Nowadays, there are few old nuns left in orders as they are decimated due to lack of vocations. Only ones thriving with ample vocations are the Catholic communities that reject this madness. Remember, do not trust your feelings. Trust your God given reason! Feelings will always mislead you into madness.

Great Testimony Alisa!!! We were worried and prayed for you. Your Grandfather used to come and sit in my house and discuss about you before picking you from the Convent. No matter our vocation in life, God wants to provide us with all of the graces that we need. God gives us a specific mission, something that is tailor-made for each one of us. He doesn’t expect us to do this on our own. Whether a parish priest, a wife and mother, a widowed grandfather, or a young postulant, God wants to pour graces on each of us as we live out our vocations.

Thanks for your message, and appreciate you sharing what you believe. We must certainly listen to God's Word from the Bible. We are called not only to worship God, but try to be like Christ. Who did that better than Mary? In the Bible, the angel Gabriel calls Mary "full of grace", not half or almost full. Gabriel wouldn't say anything except what God himself gave him to say. So God himself through Gabriel shows her to be immaculate. Catholics offer worship only to God but venerate (show deep respect and look up to) Mary. I personally have found great help in Her intercession and urge you to look at your own life. Don't you want to follow the fulness of God's Word, not just through the Bible but Christ Himself who is God's Word made flesh? Won't you consider what He said in John 6: I am the bread of life - he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life Today there are many churches claiming to follow only the Bible yet if they really did, would they really differ? When there is a dispute on doctrine, isn't it really the interpretation of the Bible by an elder in the Church that takes precedence? The Bible only has authority if we interpret it with the same Holy Spirit as the men who wrote it. I urge you dear brothers and sisters in Christ to think about these things and consider the holy Mother Church who God himself established to prevent us from going into error - the kind of error we make if we interpret Scripture on own own wisdom, instead of submitting to God's. And what he wants us to be like. Feminism is an rebellion Spirit of evil. Seek out his words. Don't get caught by false teachings.
