The problem wasn't that she was cheating, the problem was that she was cheating while accusing him of cheating and insulting the lady he cheated with all the while claiming the moral high ground

Show makers wants to justify cheating by that poison things... breaking up with someone because you love someone else is also cheating...No doubt She is evil...but that doesn't justify cheating...

​@@filmcompanion6394 He broke up with her because he was terminally ill when Fl wasn't even in the picture during the first episodes so it wasn't cheating there she pestered him and didn't want to let him go and he admitted that he was in wrong when he started to have feelings for Fl but he admitted that he didn't kept her in the dark (so it's not cheating)(and no I am not justifying it I actually felt bad for her at first) He wanted to clear things out and trying to take responsibility for what he did or feel but she didn't want to leave him that's obsession she used every trick to get him on his side even when she was cheating on him with his archnemesis from the beginning. He was wrong but was trying to be honest at least when he was clear about his feelings and she was just plain bad and using him. So the comparison between them is wrong. And Both ML and FL had past life connections it wasn't the spell only so I will still say that it was complicated on his part and was understandable

He told hero break up many times and admitted he was swayed + he had so much going on from illness to hallucinations and the curse but she is just plain evil shameless cheater and person in general

K-Directors often choose actors based on image (and they r really good at it). She has the foxy materialistic image. Hving her play some shy, country simple, good girl would not fit.

There is some supernatural involvement so it is not that simple... it's just not about cheating...if you watched the whole show we can clearly see how awful and resentful person she is..she literally destroyed the main lead female's life in high school just for nothing...how can you guys defend her

Shin-yu didn't love her but was loyal to her and remember he was seriously ill so he broke up with her bcoz he didn't want to hurt her she didn't want to break up she was pestering herself on him and at the beginning he was so confused with his illness curse and then magic potion and he was having flashbacks of his previous life too anybody could be confused and he was continuously looking out that the fl liked second lead so he couldn't do anything and as soon as He was sure with his feelings and the Hongjo's feeling he told her and asked her to be patient because he want to give their relationship a proper start and didn't want anyone to blame her or badmouth about her. She crossed the line first until the very last moment he was trying to be respectful to his ex too even though he knew she cheated on him. Even his Grandma told him that it's no use of staying loyal alone. And as far as Second lead he turned her down and then acting up when he saw Shin-yu with hongjo. Second lead was a mere crush for Hongjo Shin-yu is her love and she was completely honest with him and was her real self with him. (The writing in this show has so many layers and it shows the conflicts confusion and then start clearing things up one by one)
