My biggest fear doing overhead is my shoulders snapping backwards, is that common?
@mx_nana_banana13 күн бұрын
no, if you keep your core tight, and keep everything stacked over your feet, your shoulders won’t snap back, but if you either forget or don’t brace your core then you won’t be able to control the weight on the way down.

I did these when I first started working out with weights at 14, in a week I was faster and more explosive with everything. Since I played basketball I noticed it in a few days. Combined with plyometrics I was almost unstoppable.

Please Help! I cant put my knees even an inch over my toes, my ankles just don't go that far so I have to raise my heels for squats on a plate or something. What movements can I do to increase the range of motion for my ankles so I can get my knees iver my toes?

Check out The Knees Over Toes Guy channel. You will be able to find specific exercises to help you with your ankle mobility.

some people just physically can't, you might be one of those people you could try a goblet squat with a kettlebell & see if you can get deeper If you can then I guess you know that you can get deeper If not then perhaps you could just go a much wider stance Gotta work with what you got i guess A coach that knows what they're doing would be best though, go to a proper weightlifting gym & see what the coaches there say

she needs a better coach, good on her for having the right shoes & getting into the sport but her technique is not right & she should be using a stick or the bar only until the techniques good, her first pull and positioning is not correct

Do a video for the end of the clean next time. It's still so ackward for me to try and squat down to catch the weight. Im doing 250lb cleans almost straight up like a dummy
