I was driving past and just caught a glimpse of the overgrown backyard, I went and knocked on the front door and I noticed the front yard was overgrown as well so I asked and offered if I can clean both and she said yes. She was overwhelmed and extremely excited that her yard was finally going be trimmed and mowed.

We are in the heat of summer in America, and looking at the palm trees, your area would be similar to our southern coastal areas. One kind lady told me it’s a rainy season for you. When I saw all of the “buggy’s” (I love how everyone has different names for the same thing) my first thoughts were, shopping center is near by. The ones chained together looked like maybe from a shop that closed its doors. You always do such good work. Such a processional job. I’m learning a lot watching lawn care guys. There’s an order to what you do that I appreciate. I notice you mow to avoid discharge into the street where you can. I notice that you mow in different directions often going over the same areas multiple times from different angles. I notice many will edge or weed whack allowing the discharge to go into the grass where it can be caught by the mower and broken down into mulch. I notice how you clean up as you go. This job did not disappoint.

It was so nice of you to do this for her! It's apparent from the amount of shopping carts, she either had or doesn't have a car and no one who will or can help her in getting her groceries home. She may not be inclined to ask for help or may not know how and she probably doesn't even have the funds to give someone a tip, to have the groceries delivered to her home. Just an observation as I myself do not have a car and am walking back and forth to the grocery store with a suitcase on wheels to get my groceries home. I also have no one to help me either family or otherwise to help me get even the basic food supplies home to my house. I'm sure you doing this for her was a great blessing. Just a personal thought. If you have the opportunity see if you can reach out to a local church to see if they would come out and offer to help her, just to get back and forth to the grocery store or to at least deliver the groceries to her house. It would be a little extra effort on your part but a great blessing for her and for some local church to help. Thank you so much!

@@floracredo9478 Hard to say. She must really be depressed. Just getting to the store and back feels like running a Marathon, as I've also dealt with depression. It's difficult to deal with anything or think clearly. Just the thought of having to walk to the store and get your groceries is almost more than you want to do except you need to have food in the house. And Australia I'm sure is extremely hot. I'm sure she feels just about as bad as it looks, poor soul. Too bad some organization such as a church can't help out. Depression can make you feel just walking is more than you can deal with. Have thought it's possible that maybe somebody has given her a ride, but she had no way to get back and so the car to just have accumulated. Actually I was thinking, it would be a great job for some young kids to push those carts back. They have the energy in the enthusiasm. Actually if I was there I'd do it myself. Which I have done for other people who've used carts and push them home and haven't pushed them back so I've done that for them. It's so hard to know for sure.
@euniceloy7120
@euniceloy7120 Жыл бұрын
@@edwardaldrich7213 Oh, I don't have a bike, I walk to the store. The suitcase on wheels, I put my purchases in, and just pull it back to my house. I have a bad back and I have a bad shoulder and can't carry much very far. I have no car, but I also only live right across the street from grocery store. You just wheel the suitcase to the store and put it under the shopping cart after you bought your purchases and paid for them, you just put your groceries in the suitcase on wheels and walk home. I also have to go up a long stairwell and it's easier to get everything up in one load by just pulling the suitcase on wheels of the stairs. People look at you a little strange but I don't care. Actually it's something I see quite common around where I live. But I do have to say the first few times I went to this grocery store after I moved here I did have the security card for of them follow me around the store 🤣😂😂. They're a lot of homeless where I live and shoplifting is very common with the homeless. But they know me by now and they pretty much just ignore me.
