Never take the blame for someone else. If they truly love you, they won't ask you to.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel the judge should be punished for having prejudice (aka a preconceived notion) since they're suppose to go into cases neutral in order to make a clear consensus. But I doubt it could really be proven after two years unless other speak up against them.

Moral of the story... A woman must be financially independent. The husband's advice that Lara fell for is how to take care of the kids if he were to go to jail. And as a good woman that loves her family especially the kids, she agreed to take the blame for him.

I'm glad that Lara got justice in the end! But where will Lara work now? Did that lady even apologize to Lara?

I wouldn't do this for my husband. For real my husband would take the blame for what he did instead of asking me to do it. Lara wasted 2 years and came to nothing until the accident victim woke up and remembered it was her husband who hit him and the husband got what he deserved and Lara got her life and kids back.

Punishment can go to the wrong person, but if you really look at the real criminal it's the Husband! Always take the consequence, don't let other suffer your mistakes.

Lara should never have took blame for her husband Ron in the first place because he's never innocent and he doesn't show any guilt or remorse for his wife to spend two years in prison in his place. Beside if Ron really do love and care for Lara then he should have been the one to take responsibility for his own action by going to Prison himself instead but clearly he never did real care for his wife at all or think of the consequence at all because he only cared about himself.

This is a very ungrateful thing for him to do she took the blame for him Wasted two years of her life behind bars could be at the risk of getting tumbled or beaten or killed or forced to do things against her will not just by the guards but even at the same time by tougher inmates you don’t get to choose a cellmate in prison they just throw you in and lock the door those are people in there that are crazy people that would beat the heck out of you and not even know they did it People die in prison you don’t have a choice in prison when you’re out in the yard or in the showers you don’t have any rights or any protection if someone bigger and stronger than you tells you to do some thing you have to do it no matter what it is that could include if she were your soulmate she would’ve had to be washing her drawers cooking her food doing what she wants you to do when she wants you to do it And when those doors in the prison cell open at 6 o’clock you got to get up because if you don’t get up you don’t eat no one‘s going to save any food for you In prison you have to listen someone tells you when you eat and when you shower and when you shave every time you have to use the bathroom your roommate is in there with you because your toilet is in there in your cell So you have to sit down and go to the bathroom right in Front of them You have to poop and you have to pee right there in the room with your cell mate And you better do a courtesy flush otherwise they might jump off the bed and beat you up because I don’t wanna smell what you got going on And the food is awful you get baloney sandwiches and the bread is stale But at least she was lucky enough to find work after she got released most won’t be so lucky that if you manage to get through prison without getting killed or crippled are going crazy there’s nothing for you to do when you get out like elsewhere This 18-year-old did a similar thing like this guy did and was sentenced to 24 years in prison that means he’ll be 42 when he gets out everyone else out there is raising kid going fishing and buying houses and cars and taking vacations he’ll never be able to have any of that when he’s 42 years old and doesn’t know anything by prison life But even so should’ve been more grateful at the fact that she tried to go to prison for him in his place when thinking she wouldn’t be prepared to take care of the kids on her own if he ended up behind bars
