I watched this movie long ago, rewatched it after that. I loved it but it's only now that I noticed 2:28 how the little dog slides when running to her. So cute. 🥰

Without a doubt the best scene in the movie. The structure, the cinematography, the music, the narration. Everything combines to make this a beautiful, soothing, haunting bridge from the every day to the awe inspiring. Well done; well done.

@@gogamich Still working on that :) I just know this film is better than almost any other film I compare it to. Such a feelgood movie with an awesome storyline. My top 5 changes over time as I watch new films, and as I mature and my taste changes. But this remains at the top. One that comes to mind that I've watched several times is "About Time". Wow, what a great film that is. And "Amélie", a French movie. Watched it countless times.

I liked this movie very much. Netflix is no longer streaming this movie. The last day to watch this movie is December 31. Harrison Ford was great in the movie. The whole cast were great in talking to each other and interacting.

No you wouldn't, having to live through life watching every single one your loved ones die and move on while you are stuck. I mean think about it, even having a child knowing you will outlive them, and going through life falling in love with someone only to leave them later because you can never grow old with them, and so much more. In the end you would just wish for your life to be over because you can't take it any more. On top of that, just like Adeline, you would have to constantly change your identity so nobody tries to experiment on you like you're some kind of science project instead of a human being because someone recognizes your name from you being a 29 year old in the 60s and you are still living as a 29 year old through the 2000s. It would all be such a hassle.

Nothing about this film should work. The story is preposterous. Blake Lively? She's whaaaa... immortal? But it's transcendent. Harrison and Anthony, truly wondrous. My favorite Harrison performance. I return to this mere slip of a film time and time again. Blake is luminous in this.
