It's not in great shape, but this seems like a full cut of one of Shea Scientific's educational films. Wish it was in better condition, but that's what film to VHS to digital transfer gets you, I guess.
Almost didn't get this one uploaded this week, and with work stuff coming up, it may be a while before I can settle down and find something else to digitize. But this is some cool progress. We have some crew names!
11-08-23 edit: Here's Chris's short thread.

Oh this is funny. That narrator is actually a guy named Gary Turnen, one of our gophers. He'd do the temp voiceover to help me and our editing guys get everything lined up before we'd send the footage out for the final voiceover. He'd always try to copy Stephen's accent.

Hahaha that's great! That clears up some confusion we had.

That explains it! Gotta say though, ol' Gary did a pretty solid impression. We were hypothesizing what was up and I was sure the other VA was the temp because this guy's voice was so convincing for the part despite their voice appearing so many more times.

It would be interesting to know the full production process of the tapes! From research, to the filming and editing, to the final voiceover and how it all comes together

I mean, if that UFO actually is an alien and not just a secret military project... maybe. Lots of water up here, though Lansing isn't such a great place to look.

Ok doing some research on where these stock video and images are being pulled from to get maybe a better idea of where SSF might be from. First off I figured out that the dinosaur at 1:00 is from an old collection of dinosaur statues called the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs in London, England.

I heard that the Shea company actually made HEC-RAS 1.0 in fortran but didn't realize the project as computers at the time were not powerful enough to put it into use. But the army bought the patent and released it later.

"steet" is actually "sleet" which is partially frozen rain. Its basically pellets of ice that are softer than hail.

@trusiight3558 I don't think so. We've found references to John Shea and Janet Tell-Ashman in newspapers, and without naming him, E. (the owner of the apartment these were found in) is also in these credits.

On a more serious note, have you considered that there may be hidden messages in this video? Seems really strange that these middle school level videos were grouped up with UFO sightings. Maybe something in the weird amount of grain?
@AJBurwell

I doubt it. There doesn't seem to be anything, and I don't know why there would be anyway. It's either a box of mostly this studio's stuff, or else the rest will just be random.
