found u on youtube....could u help me determine if my w4x13 H beam 12ft long can support a 1000lbs rated hoist and trolley across a 12ft span? i plan to support at each end of the beam with 3-4 2x8 studs standing on my garage floor and secured to existing walls. the most i would lift is 700lbs. thx for any help!

Amazing video but i think the shear diagram when you placed your point at negative 30 is wrong coz you were at 15 so you have to do 15+(-30) and then your point will be at -15 ,Im under correction

Also, you wrongly written the value for second moment but you verbally you said it correct which is 15 not 5
