they need to give pve to all eod players, make the upgrade from eod to new version at least half the price if not cheaper, and make a PUBLIC apology and explenation to this dumbass decision. if they do all, i feel they will be in decent standing with the average player. if not this mistake will go down in HISTORY in game dev failures.

To be completely honest I just tasted Tarkov and I don’t even want to new game. I want my game and I want it to just be good. Super frustrated

For me the conversion from us money to Canadian what kills me .. I own EOD and when I look at the prices for unheard is 100 bucks but it converts to 178 before tax.. I payed 240 for EOD and now this

I had EOD a year prior to the release of arena and I had to wait until the full release of arena when everyone got it to get it. EFT is nothing more than a money grab scam at this point

I bought the editions. They should have brought back EOD or added a container like gamma renamed it sold it like a skin for 30 bucks and had PVE for free for EOD and add it at like 70 bucks for others.

If they had the server space a $10-$20 early playtest access would be gold. Strike the iron while it's hot. Low stake entry fee. You'll have dummies not understanding how early in development it is but it would give ALOT of people an outlet to walk off tarkov. I agree to your points though. Super early. Super bare bones. Could turn base off but I got a feeling it wouldn't.

I bought EOD for 3 people back in 2017 (as I play many beta/early access games to support development), I have 1000's of hours. This really isn't about the money, my youngest son is as old as this beta. Today I have been shown the escape from tarkov.

It's not even just the pay to win thing, there are so many big bugs that hold people back from progressing in the game. I have this bug with two tasks that are required for the Kappa quest and they are marked as “failed” but I can't restart them. When I reported this bug I only got a “you have to wait until the bug is fixed” wtf but take another 120€ for some loot and pay2win

another problem is, if you purchase the Unheard Edition, it overwrites your EoD version. Call me paranoid but i feel there is something wrong with that also. Why not just adding, why overwrite an edition?🤔

Nah, only reason ppl won't stop yet is again because this is currently the only realistic fps extract looter game. We have 2 new ones coming out within a month or so. When there are no other options your stuck with shit but when more options come out you have a choice, support someone who thinks little of you and only wants your money or play a game that actually takes players into account

I feel like a "starter edition" for like $20 that was PvE Coop would have been a better approach. Affordable for most people, get new players into the game, and make some money. All of the other editions should have Coop included. They should support their decision from years ago that EOD will get access to all DLC.

Many of these new 'features' could be broken out as paid add-ons. I was always under the impression that 'dlc' would exlusively be new maps and something like Arena. Pay for convenience features should be just that. Such that the aggregate of purchasing all those would exceed the 250 base price. EOD would get preferential pricing on them if they so chose. That 'call a friend' feature absolutely has to go however...that's so OP as to be a game breaker. This isn't EVE where the biggest nerd herd wins...

Everyone bought $150 game because all this future stuff was supposed to be included. The change in wording is subject to a class action lawsuit since that is not legal to do. That call in the friends has been stated it is in the PVP mode

That price of 250$, in my country it could feed me for almost 60 days (excluding bills and other daily necessities) so why would i spend that much for a singleplayer game.

I have EOD and about 500-1k horus in tark its not a GOOD game its a very MID game at best. The audio alone drops it by 3-4 points.

Even if BSG somehow comes out of this, no amount of an apology will restore the loyalty they lost. This is probably the biggest thing BSG lost today, their loyal player base, that have stuck with them through tough times. Now all of that is gone and will be for the foreseeable future.
