Some cool items in there for sure but lots of duplication that adds up in weight. Two things stuck out to me: 1. Your IFAK is in the bottom of the main compartment. I’d seriously recommend having it more accessible. What if someone else needs to use it? 2. That bag will draw attention & make you a potential target. Folks will know you have goodies in there. Sorry if this came off as too critical. Just want you to be safe. Thank you for posting.

I appreciate how you feature several items and let people know lower cost items that you like and use. Lots of these videos are snobbish about that.

Why so many duplicates? If you had 1 good knife and 1 good multitool you would of saved enough to but the 5.11 rush. Whatever situation you find yourself in you'd end up dead by the time you make your mind up which pry bar and what colour paracord you want to use to try and find your first aid kit.

Sir, Kudos to you for keeping the kit with you daily! But, Empty all your contents onto a table to Identify Excess Items & Shortages, and maybe Save Weight. Recommend 1.Replace one of the Kubotans with Wool-blend Socks & foot powder. 2.Replace one of the small MOLLE Bags with a Rigid Case for your eyeglasses. 3.Didnt see a Water container. 4.Add CPR mask if Medical Support is the main effort. 5.Replace a couple of the small metal objects with Map & Compass to get home. 6.Replace another small metal object with 2-3 large heavy duty trash bags. 7.Keep up the good work and Biking!!

Each to their own, of course. One of the problems - and I speak from personal experience - is to add and add. Not just add, but add that interesting gimmick rather than the boring staple (ie food, water etc). The thing is to start off my saying "I am not a combination of Bear Grylls and James Bond, and I am never going to be." It is painful to admit this, but there it is. Then carry out an audit. What will you really need for the likely emergency rather than the Zombie Apocalypse? In my country walking around with what looks like a grenade on your rucksack would be likely to get you slotted by the SAS. As I say, this is not said with any smugness. This backpack is a replica of 5.11 Rush 12 series and the pouch under radio is a replica of Maxpedition M-1 pouch..... in simple eye you can see how low quality it is. However the video is great, thanks bud. Take a try Maxpedition staffs.

Just scratching my head with the grappling hook in your edc. It looks unused which is not surprising considering the only rope you have is paracord. Not being funny but I really wouldn't reccomend climbing with paracord.

Like 80% is gear for suckers, if you actually make an effort to use the gear that’s clearly been bought on a whim and sacked without trial, you’ll find a lot of it is pointlessly redundant, under performing for the task it’s meant for, or of much poorer quality then the advertising would lead you to believe. The bear grylls knives and equipment are cheap low quality junk put out by gerber with a charlatans name attached to it for recognition. They break so easily I’d rather a decent kitchen knife in a desperate situation. You got the right idea with being prepared, just follow it up with testing, use the gear, if you find something in the bag that hasn’t been used, and could be replaced with something else in the bag toss it in the big drawer of neat junk we all have lol. Also for an edc bag make sure to leave a good portion of it empty to be useful as a bag to carry other random things you use daily like a lunch pail or coffee. Makes the bag itself a benefit instead of a burden.

There's a lot of unnecessary gadgets and tools in there, many duplicated. So much stuff dangling off the outside of your bag like a Christmas tree too. The IFAK was pretty decent, but it would've made more sense to have it in a more accessible place. Just my thoughts, each to their own.
