THIS is the best self build brake I've spotted so far ... Very good job (especially on the clamping mechanism).

Hey, dude...Thats a very well engineered metal break... I like the clamping mechanism. I will build the same thing in the near future.. but longer (2 Meter) At the moment, i have a very improvised break made out of wood. It works fine for Aluminium up to 2 mm.. I did a lot of roofing work with it since i built it, 5 years ago... But now its time for a better one out of steel...One thing a have noticed... your welder / gas bottle setup. I think, you need a propper welding cart. ;) Subscribed and greets from Germany

I like your folder. I am just making one myself and looking at video's of how other people have made theirs. Your channel has some interesting video content too so have subbed. Although I have made a welding cart and put a video of the build on my channel I will watch your welding cart video next. Top regards, Jon.

Thank you. I have done 1 mm thick sheet metal full length...was not a problem. But 2 mm is probably too much

You have made a really good metal brake. Well done. Are you pleased with the full length bends or do you think it varies along the bend? I've been looking at buying one but they are either too small or too expensive. Self made looks like the best way to go. Kind regards Paul 🇬🇧

Thanks man...I am very happy with the bend quality. It took guite some time before i finally built it for myself...wish I had built it earlier😁 It makes life so much easier🙂

@@OneManOperation I can imagine. I will have to get cracking. I really like your design. The clamping especially. I built myself a media blasting cabinet and powder coating oven.
