Now he is trapped atop an abandon building with nowhere left to run and little hope of survival"

Looking back on this, as an adult, I didn't realize that kid could have killed Marv with that brick. I have been hit in the cheek of my face from a brick that only fell a few feet and it gave me a nasty cut. This boy threw that brick from the roof of a 3 - 4 story building right into the frontal lobe. That guy is dead.
