Hey, glad too see my layout Grangetown on video, shame at the time of your recording i think i had been exploring so my gradfather had too step in. Glad you liked the stock and the class 31, the class 13 tho was my favourite locomotive to build in n gauge, one of pair of class 13s was finished at 2 in the morning before the exibition, crazy but oh well it worked. Glad too see my one foot in the grave 2cv was noticed. ;D

How can I Bild a upper deck... mmmm!!! Noe it is time to go shopping 🚂🚃!!!I was sure they were going to hit 🚂. More shopping wow this would be so hard for me to pass up lol!!! Well done, Rick. Ok well get this. I am going out of Town. And I am going to a BIG blow out of a Warehouse full of verry discounted Tranis wow yes!!! I hope to get some good stuff there. It will be about a fore our drive lol. But I will tell you what I get mate cheers!!!

Wonderful walkthrough at this show. A couple nice interviews and some cool layouts and assortment of stock. It was a very industrial set of layouts, wasn't it... emphasis on diesel. I did enjoy seeing the old UK TT layout... track and more. Quote interesting that. Anyhow, thanks for another great Sunday morning show! Cheers!

Nice green Class 20!! Certainly not my favourite locomotive, but a useful one nonetheless!! My favourite diesel is the Class 37.

Another excellent video, I liked the British Steel layout, plenty of subtle weathering. Layouts have to be weathered to bring them to life.

Something like 0 gauge definitely needs loco crew, Rest of layout nicely detailed yet no crew! Are you pair off to Bakewell show next month. Them Airfix 31s will pull a house down! That small refueller point was excellent, Lonnie Donagun? sung about the Rock island line in the 60s, Take care.

Hi Tony, agree on the crew, not sure of what we are doing over the next few months but Bakewell would be good as it's not that far from us. I've an Airfix 31 and it's definitely a powerhouse and noisy as heck! Cheers Rick

not much steam😭…🤣 Speaking of Dapol, they finely saw the light and are producing in the UK again and fixed couple of main issues on their wagons. One is the coupling, that's strait now and spring back to middle neutral stand. They also did something to their axels and wait, so they stay better on track. And in the age of £30+ wagons they stayed under £15, which is remarkable, because the theory was lets build in China to keep costs down, and here we have a UK build new product, at a very affordable new stock price. I would say buy them to give them a boost… Cheers, Danny

Hi Danny, we went to the Dapol factory last year and one of the staff mentioned they were changing the couplings. Good news I will definitely buy them. We have quite a few Dapol wagons, most of which run fine! All the best Rick

That little Hunslet was very similar to the ones we drove down the mines in Notts just the cab was more cut down thankfully! That quarry at the end was fab.

love your videos nice to hear a positive comment on tt scale ive had to change Fromm 00 to TT120 scale because of space . finding it hard to find anything tt120 scale so im going down the 3d printing rabbit hole wish me luck . at shows I always get the look when I say I gone to TT120 not sure why people seem to have a problem with the scale at the end of the day we all do model train sets just different scales. Don't know might just be me but I do get that look 🤔

This is a truly prototypical layout, complete with graffiti on the walls and some of the wagons!! Very attractive!!

Great video again, outstanding layouts with quite some detail. I was already thinking about how Victor Meldrew complained that whenever you hire a skip there will always be somebody who dumps the odd mattress in it. Seeing the green 2cv later this tells me some people there know their classics 🤣

Wow, someone got my reference, seeing this comment has made my day, honestly. I wanted fit a few tv/film references. Got the titfield train which comes out, 2cv in a skip, Mr beans mini and the 3 ford cortinas were a small nod too the top gear trio.

@@class_31clag The Mini turns up regularly tbh and I don't really watch car shows so I missed that reference but a skip with a mattress always takes me back to that show. It's just like when you hear the melody of Bread from Heaven, I wonder how many people just see Victor sitting in his car now 🤣

Having worked at a heritage railway, I can tell you that I find steam more attractive than diesel, even in full size trains!!

Love the OBB Austrian layout - do you remember the name of it? We lived in Munich for quite a while and I got totally sucked into many of the DB OBB SBB models - so much livery variety and loco hauled trains when I was there. Nice video - thanks

That’s the second time, I think, you’ve spotted a bird logo on a loco. I collect Thornaby Depot locos whose symbol was a kingfisher. My guess is this week’s Lima Class 47 featured a Cockney Sparrow symbol, indicating Stratford Depot.

Sentinels are more industrial locomotives than European!! They have made at least a hundred different locomotives!! A great British company!!

4:50 That locomotive has two different colored sides (the other side has a blue theme) and a custom horn. It also carried a special Police livery in the past and is currently in Railjet colors 20:29 That wagon type usually carries trac ballast, as it can unload on both sides. On most models the tilting part is movable
