Hey guys welcome back, hope you are doing well, I’m going to be showing you my unboxing and review of the SHEHDS Beam 150! Hope you enjoy!!

This is probably the best Beam moving head for under $500
The SHEHDS Beam 150 is a 150w LED Beam moving head, it is packed with features. For example an 8 and 18 facet prism with a prism morphing feature. It has a beam angle of 2.2 degrees. It has 12 colors + open, 13 gobos + open. And more!

I had two of these as backups while my robe 1200ats were in for a service I found the colour change was starting to get a bit Jerky and rotating gobo was very sticky just after warranty so had to let them go and got 4 chauvet rogues to go alongside my robe 1200ats. The one thing surprised me about the beam 150s is how well they are made

They deffinetly are well built and can put up to a beating. I’m very sorry to hear that you had this experience with these fixtures. But with mine I had no problem at all with any of these, but I do think that there is a chance that the software you were using to control is was not the best suited for the fixture.

@@DJDannyDante Control software would make no difference - it runs on dmx therefore it is the light. Although it's branded as such it's still a Chinese light and the quality isn't always amazing. I would put it down to the fixture itself not dmx software, all software can pretty much run moving heads so it wouldn't be a problem.

Hey, try and go into your DMX universe. And in the fixture library try and find the brand “SHEHDS”, and from there select “Beam150” if you can not find it please try and email ADJ about this issue and in the next software update they will refresh it for you.

Happy to see that your interested :) I use SoundSwitch to programme these lights. It is reliable and easy when you get the hang of it.

I’m using the normal “SHEHDS 150w LED beam” fixture preset. Unfortunately in the new update they removed the ability to do split colors.

how it compare to the beam 230 (7r) light level wise

The LED beam 150 will be brighter coming at 20,000 lumens whilst the 7R beam will produce 10,200 lumens. But the LED beam will also be a bit more efficient when it comes to watt hours. The lifespan of the LED beam will also be much longer at over 60,000 hours. Compared to the 7R at 2,000 hours of life time.

Im Curious how bright is this? Im tempted to buy 2pc of this, but i dont know how bright is this compare to 7r or 10r bulb. Thank You.

The LED 150, is the weakest in brightness, but it does have the best optics of the three, and the 10R being the brightest. I would recommend looking into the newer GalaxyJet products, and there I’m sure you will be able to find one that will suit you perfectly, and would be the best of both worlds.

@@reganprado7124 I personally use SoundSwitch, it is reliable easy and very good and professional. I highly recommend it.

If I bought one of those....do i need any software for them to work? Or can I just plug them into the wall and would work just fine?

Yes, you can use DMX. And also stand alone mode. All you have to do is go in to the menu, and select Auto. And from there select your preferences of auto modes. And you can also select Sound Active mode and select the sensitivity.

Hi, I bought 2 and when I connected them they said the 2 heads ERROR FOCUS AND A RED LED ON 🤔🤔🤔

Hello, I’m very sorry to hear that your having trouble with your lights. What I would recommend you doing is taking the cover off your units and then pressing the focus until the lens slide off. Then re align the lens and apply pressure whilst pressing the focus button on the unit, the lens should correctly be put back in place. Then reset the unit and you should be good to go.

Hello, Haven’t had any issues at all. They are great! Very sturdy build quality and full of features. An absolutely amazing fixture, and I’m sure you’d love it as well!

Can this work with just sound mode and slave mode?

This fixture will work absolutely fine in master/slave mode, they have immersive built in shows and modes.

@@followoctopus5201the SoundSwitch Control one is a optional edition, all you need is the SoundSwitch USB to DMX adaptor and the SoundSwitch software for your PC/Laptop, it is a very simple, easy to use software. Thank you very much again!
