Mashallah! Allah SWT has blessed me in my first 30 days as a Muslim with lectures like these. I realized very quickly regardless of how my non-Muslim parents feel about Islam, it’s important for me to display my good character as a good son and man. Our obstacles are what improves our patience and character. Bless all of you my brothers and sisters.

Finally someone says it. I thought it was just me. I switched my morning pages to prayer pages. I had too , I was staying way too long in that dark place. It was becoming too much. I’m already isolated and I know if I went to an even darker place it wasn’t going to be good. I still write every morning and love the habit.

Very good lecture. I also believe it is sometimes easier to do a good deed, than restrain yourself from committing a bad action. Restraining yourself can be very difficult.

my lovely sister, in times of these moments of despair i don't hace anything personal to share but with the intention of giving you some ease and hope to see through your situation is a story im an eye-witness to. my neighbor got divorced a few years ago, her husband tortured her, shamed her etc. she was a divorcee and for 2-4 years she stayed one. after this, she got married to one of her cousins and i see her smiling the happiest smiles alhumdulillah. she wouldn't know that i see her story through such a personal lens but their family i can say waited patiently, they stuck to Allah swt, they used to have discussion of tafseer. so wait patiently my beautiful sister, may Allah swt make this downfall make you jump to the most beautiful moments of your life. may Allah swt give you the best spouse through this trial, may He make it easy for you. 💙 please let me know soon in the comments when you're happy again. which is real soon ان شاء الله!💙

SubhanALLAH what he is going through, only ALLAH سبحانه و تعالى‎ will reward him immensely for his sabr. May ALLAH عز و جل Grant his son and brother Janantul Firdous, Aameen. So true! I guess if you used the material things for good (i.e. you used your wealth to feed your children or poor people) then suddenly you used your worldly blessings the right way and they'll benefit you. ig nothing wrong in enjoying worldly blessings if we're using them to get closer to God.
