Sheikh Yusha Evans visited the Tucson Community and gave multiple lectures and talks throughout his stay.
This Thursday night lecture was focused on the sweetness of faith.

Asalam o alekom wa rahmit Allah wa baraktoho. It's good to see that you are alive and well brother. I truly enjoyed your story and I have shown it to a couple of my Christian friends. One of which (insha-Allah) wants to become Muslim ^_^ Pray for him akhi. and may Allah give you the wisdom, motivation and patience to continue to worship Allah in the best way.

Since this brother is an ex Christian... He has learned the Islamic concept of salvation thoroughly. That is the difference between Christianity and Islam.. The way you get forgiveness of your Lord is not through blood of Jesus (pbuh) but by asking for forgiveness to your Lord.

Amazing speaker and God bless for teaching many and me what my parents failed to teach about islam. I do must ask one thing though; about the tie and the starbucks in this video. The tie symbolises something and people should look it up, it doesnt have to do with western cloething, no, Im talking about what it symbolises in a spiritual way, we as muslims shouldnt wear it nor should we promote Starbuck. Just look up what the "lady" on the Starbucks logo and what it symbolises. My best wishes to this amaing speaker, my arabic was stolen from me as I had to leave my country and learn a new language growing up, so Im happy to have found these videos.

You are not Arabic right? Because if you were Arabic you would know the true meaning of Sheikh which means "old man" So its not a rank 😉

Give me one verse of the Qu'ran where it says Allah loves you? or where you should love allah? The concept of Allah loving a muslim and the Muslim loving allah doesn't exist in Islam. This guy doesn't live in an islamic country.

Amadou Djigo sorry, my mistake…here is the verse in it's entirety: Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." -surah Al-E-Imran 3:31 the person speaking is referring to Muhammad and not mankind as you have added. the real question here is does Allah love the non-believer like the God of the Bible does? my friend, the wicked and nonbelievers love those who love them. It is easy to love and be merciful to those that show you love and mercy, but what do you do with the people who despise and hate you? God says to bless those that curse you and pray for those who use you! Luke 6:32 - For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Luke 6:28 - Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. As they beat and crucified Jesus he told his heavenly father to forgive them because they knew not what they were doing. here is what quran says: Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger." But if they turn away - then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers. surah Al-E-Imran - 3:32
